Cheryl POV

I am walking down the street of Riverdale to Pops, I hear thunder in the background, the wind begins to pick up and I see a poster fly across the road and onto my leg, I pick it up and it's the photo of Toni Topaz with the words 'Missing'. She has been for three weeks, the poor girl is probably dead or worse. A car pulls from behind me and the man rolls down the window.

"Hey Red, do you need a lift? It's starting to rain," The man says

"I am fine," I plaster a smile but his face falls. He stops the car and I begin to walk faster, he steps out of the car with a wrench and starts chasing me, I feel something thrown at my head and everything goes black.

I find my head in excruciating pain and I wake up in an unfamiliar setting, it was a room that had concrete walls and one window with bars over it, it was clearly a basement with a steel door that had no handle on the inside

"You're awake," I hear a man say, he is standing in the corner of the room, he has long hair with a scar running down his face, and he is bulky with a beer belly, he stands up revealing he is six four, I look up to him and instantly move backwards on the mattress in the room and I bump into a girl with pink hair next to me, she quickly looks at me and grabs my hand, "I trust you to inform Ginger over there the rules for the time being," He nods to the pink-haired girl, she swallows and nods, he smirks and before he leaves the room slamming the steel door behind him, he turns around and smirks "Normally I like to have one hostage at a time but seeing you walk I couldn't resist."

"He only comes down once every three days," she mutters, "I am Toni Topaz," She offers a sweet smile, and I nod curtly

"I know. You have been missing for weeks, everyone is looking for you," I say trying to give her some comfort that people care

"They are still looking?" She smiles with hope in her eyes

I nod carefully and she reveals her teeth, she quickly goes back to looking down

"When the serpents find me they will kill him," She looks off into the corner of the room and nods towards her leather coat, "if you get cold you can wear it."

"What in the hell were the rules was he talking about?"

"Rule one, no screaming or you die, rule two no trying to escape or you die and rule three you must follow every single order he says or you die."

"has he... hurt you?" I ask

"He beat me close to death the first night here," she lifts her dirty shirt to reveal a large scar along her rib cage next to her serpent tattoo, she leans against the wall

"What... Why?"

"Let's just say this serpent bites, it was worth it I also gave him a pretty good number," She smirks showing me her bruises knuckles

"But you're so tiny," I laugh a little trying to lighten the mood, we laugh awkwardly and it dies down. Her face falls and she puts her hand on mine

"Cheryl, promise me you will do whatever he says."

"How do you know my name?"

"Cheryl Blossom, everyone knows your name," She smirks a little

"Are we going to die down here?" I ask as a tear slips down my face, she quickly wipes it

"We need to stay strong, do what he says and follow his stupid rules. I promise you I will get us out of here," She says grabbing my hands, I nod a little comforted with a small smile on my lips, an hour or so goes by and Toni and I sit in complete silence, the door starts to open and the man is standing there with food in his arms
