Chapter 5

It's been years.

Y/N was making her way back to her Estate; the Thunder Estate.

Ever since Y/N was named the Thunder Hashira, the Estate was filled with thunder-related things, yet she wished to be named as the Lighting Hashira instead since it was less flashy sounding, but if that's what Oyakata decided to name her title, so be it.

Suddenly, her crow, Kama, had an announcement.

"Crawwww! All Hashira's must go to Oyakata's Estate for a meeting!"

Y/N's POV

Interesting... we haven't had a meeting out of anywhere for about the 3 years I have been here, I wonder why.

Shrugging it off, I change the direction I was going towards Oyakata-sama's Estate.

Within minutes, I had arrived at the Estate. I walked into the area where we would always have our semi meetings.

Since none of the Hashira's had arrived yet, I just lean against the tree Obanai-san would always sit on.

Slowly as time went past by, the more Hashira's came. Each greeted each other, as I would just bow to whoever spoke to me.

When Shinobu had finished talking to everyone, she came over to me, with a concerned reaction.

"Y/N, can you please speak?"

This is a daily request she would have every day, she even got all the Hashira's and the girls at the Butterfly Estate, which used to be the Flower Estate before Kanae died, to ask me to talk.

Kanao has been approving, so everyone has been having their main focus on me to get me to talk.

"Oyakata-sama has arrived."

We all swiftly got into a line, and bowed down, waiting for our leader to speak.

"Ohayo, my dear swordmen, we have got an invite to someplace called Fiore. I'm sure you guys know that's where we had saved Connell-san from?"

Everyone nodded but Muichiro and me. I don't have many memories from my past, as I refuse to remember such. The farthest I can remember is when I was abused in someplace, trained with some black and blue dragon, and all of a sudden sent here where Oyakata-sama had accepted me.

He always says it was worth it to save me, yet I can't ever thank him enough, which was why I became a swordsman, for him.

If it wasn't for him, I probably would be on the streets.

"We are to participate in some 'Grand Magic Games.' I do want to tell you all that we are going to meet people who can do something that is similar to Demon Blood Arts, like Connell-san, yet they are humans."

He turned his attention to me and continued.

"Connell-san, please, do your best to help us, even if you can't remember much."

I nodded and stared at the pebble ground. So I'm going back where I had been abused, huh?

"And most importantly: we are going as an obstacle, as well as watching out for demons there. I have believed they've sent something for us to get to this Fiore, so do be prepare soon, my swordmen."

Everyone but me said "Hai!"

After a couple of days, the thing that they had sent us was apparently some kind of circle thing we had to walk through?

Shinazugawa growl and cross his arms, saying "What kind of bullshit is this?!"

All of them were slightly nervous, so I decided to walk through first.
