Chapter 13

"Well, after that little situation, let's go to our 4th and final battle of the Grand Magic Games Day 3! Fairy Tail A's Wendy Marvell versus Lamia Scale's Sherria Blendy!"

2 young children, battling each other? How interesting. 

At once, Sherria jogged onto the field, tripping on a rock and fell.

The crowd burst into laughter, as Wendy jogged over to her, yelling "Are you alright?!"

Except the brown eye girl had also tripped and fell.

As both girls faced each other on their stomachs, the crowd laughed even harder, with the Hashiras laughing a bit with the other rank slayers.

"It seems like it's going to be a battle of cuteness! And I'm gonna root for them both!"

This is truly a battle of adorableness with these youngsters I gotta say. I wonder what my childhood was like.

Now both girls were facing each other, looking determined at each other.

"Let the battle begin!"

Chaptai started shaking his head, about to let his wig fall off his head as he kept talking.

"It's an outstanding match of cute against cute! And nobody's happier than me!"

"Such cute girls, I wanna squeeze their checks!" 

As the battle begin both girls fought, I noticed something.

One was Sky Dragon Slaying magic, as the other was Sky God Slaying magic.

Their magics were exactly the same type, making this trickier than it should've been. Not only that, but I felt an ominous magic power somewhere in the Domus Flau.

Ignoring the last bit I knew, I just continued to watch the game.

In a bit, the girls both had major injuries, but knowing Sky God Slaying magic, Sherria was going to heal wounds eventually, so I was more concerned for Wendy at the moment.

"Look at Wendy-tan and Sherria-tan! What are they doing?!"

"Is it me, or is the air feeling kind of thin?"

"YOU'RE JUST WEAK, OLD MAN! US SLAYERS DO THIS SHIT DAILY!" Shinazugawa shouted, making me slam his head onto the ground to silence him.

Wendy then had done her special attack, but knowing the outcome of this battle, I decided to take a slight nap.

Closing my eyes, I felt myself falling into a dream...

Feeling someone shouting "Time's up! The match is over, it ends in a draw!"

Slightly opening my eyes, exposing the e/c iris into the sun, Chaptai had finished his comments for the day.

"Each team gets 5 points! There's no better outcome for old uncle Chaptai here!"

Both girls had fallen to their knees, panting hard for air. But became friends I think.

"What a moving final scene! Game over for this old guy, and that ends the Grand Magic games!"

Paying attention back to where I was trying to sense the gigantic amount of magic, I noticed a man who was covered up with a large amount of clothing on him.

He was staring intensely at the girls who were both shaking their hands, and looking around. He then had jumped through the crowd, disappearing.

Feeling a bit suspicious about him, I follow his presence and found him in the hallway that was filled with viewers and the Magic Council as I think that was what they had called themselves.

"What's going on, Mest?!"

"I know already that you aren't Mystogan, so who are you?" the same scar-face man I saw earlier said to the multiple layers of clothing man.

The Magic Council then form a circle around the man, and I made my way through the crowd, watching what was going to happen to the man.

Scar man forcefully removed the 'Mystogan' hat, revealing blue hair and a red tattoo going down the left side of his face.

"Jellal?!"

Taking this moment, I walked up to the Jellal and place my katana's blade against the Mest.

Both high leading members stared at me in confusion, but somehow... joy.

"Ohh! There you are, Mystogan-kun!" A voice said behind me, which I turn to see the old man who sat beside Chaptai these few days.

"Yajima-san!"

"Lahar-kun, now I think you understand why Mystogan hides his face."

"Huh?" Lahar said, clearly not understanding a thing that was going on.

I picked up the hat that was removed off Mystogan's head and handing it to him as Yajima continued to explain to Lahar that Mystogan was a different person to Jellal.

Watching Mystogan walking off, I made my own way out of the hallways, into the clear sky again.

Walking around the town, like what I had been doing for the past 3 days, I stumble upon a lovely garden.

Not only did I had to stumble upon the garden, but a conversation.

Curious, I lean towards the tall leaf walls and listened.

"First master!"

"Lumen Historie, the Myth of Light. It is the 'light' of our guild. It was something I had planned to hand over to Y/N, knowing how she might have an idea how to use it."

"What I'm more concerned about is how Y/N knows Ivan. He was already kicked out of the guild before the child was born." 

Not wanting to know more about the conversation that had me, or at least I think it includes me, I continued my way around the town.

The Grand Magic Games, Day 4. As everyone had made their way to Domus Flau, we all noticed a sphere of water floating in midair.

Shinazugawa was now squeezing Giyuu's shoulders, shouting at him.

"YOU MUST DO THIS ROUND, YOU DIPSHIT. AFTER MAKING CONNELL-SAN DO WHAT YOU SHOULD'VE DONE, YOU'RE DOING THIS ONE, SINCE IT'S YOUR GODDAMN FUCKING BREATHING ELEMENT, YOU HEAR ME?"

"Now it's started! The competition of the 4th day!"

As all the wizards got into the water sphere along with Giyuu, Chaptai decided to make an inappropriate message.

"This makes a quite lovely picture! We have pretty females from every team all in swimsuits!"

"Thank you very much!"

Sweatdropping the fact he ignored Giyuu and that man from Quatro Puppies, Rocker, the game begun.

Lucy immediately pulled out a key, "Sorry everyone!"

A flash of light came from her golden key, she shouted:

"Open, Gate of the Water Bearer Palace, Aquarius!"

And a very pissed mermaid appeared.

"Ohhhh! Underwater is my backyard!" Aquarius shouted, lifting the vase above her hand, with water going into her vase.

"No, you won't! Water Cyclone!" Julia shouted, blocking the water attack that was coming towards her.

While the others were intrigued by both water users' fight, Jenny took her chance by trying to kick the 2 males in the sphere, only managing to kick out 1 of them.

As Rocker's face was slammed by Jenny's feet, Giyuu muttered his breathing form.

"Water Breathing, 3rd Form: Flowing Dance," And made a stride of water tailing him as he positioned himself on the other side of the sphere where he originally was.

"Quatro Puppy is the first to be eliminated!" Chaptai spoke, with the said guild in disbelief of how easily they were eliminated in the game.

Quicker than it seemed, Juvia decided to do what she called her special move.

"The Wings of Love! Juvia adores Gray-sama!"

"Stop that!" 

With the attack, she was able to get 4 opponents out.

While being distracted, a certain girl pushed her out, leaving only Minerva, and Lucy in the sphere.

Shinazugawa was on the edge of screaming, but Genya was trying to bribe him to relax with Ohagi.

"Just 2 people left, Minerva and Lucy! Who shall be the victorious guild, Sabertooth or Fairy Tail? The 5-minute rule will now begin!"

Minerva laughed, teasing Lucy as it seems.

"With my power, I could eject you from the arena in an instant, but that wouldn't be really interesting, would it?..."

With a handful of hot water, saying "So endure this, Fairy Tail!" and threw it at Lucy, burning her.

Watching Minerva keep attacking Lucy with burning water, anger was fuming in the Slayers.

"How could humans be so treacherous to each other?..." Mitsuri muttered, tears brimming her eyes.

Thankfully, the referee had stopped the game, with Chaptai announcing the results.

"The match is over, and the winner is Minerva from Sabertooth, yes, Sabertooth is really strong! Lucy hasn't moved for a while, is she alright?!"

Both Fairy Tail teams, Lamia Scale, and the Hashiras along with me dashed towards the injured girl, as Sabertooth was laughing.

The girl that remained in the water dropped Lucy, with Natsu and Gray catching her.

"What does that Jerk thinks she's doing?!" Natsu shouted, with Gray trying to get Lucy to talk to him.

3rd Person POV

As Minerva slid down to the ground, she answered Natsu.

"Why do you look at me that way? I simply followed the rules of the match. Frankly, I believe you should thank me for allowing you guys to obtain 2nd place... even with that worthless trash woman of yours."

Natsu was prepared to attack Sabertooth if it was for a certain leader of his team and the entire Sabertooth's team to be in front of each other.

"You bitch, you're just as bad as demons!"

"As the Flame Hashira, this is unacceptable for humans!"

"Ahhh, that girl did her best for her own guild!"

 "I want to kill her so badly, in the most unflamboyant way!"

Unknowingly to the others, the e/c eye girl pulled a certain dark key, whispering,

"Open, Gate of the Basilisk: Regulus,"

The air then was filled with dark smoke, like when Yukino had open the 13th zodiac key, in which everyone looked behind Muichiro to see a certain h/c girl, eyes glittered with specks of anger, disappointment, and fear.

"Y/N, stop that at once, Oyakata-sama forbids you using that key." Gyomei said, knowing which key she had used, and she obediently listened to him.

Gyomei walked to Y/N's side, and placed both his large hands on her small shoulders, whispering to her.

"I know how much you want to kill her, but let's save it when we fight Kibutsuji, got it?"

Nodding in reply, Y/N hurried over to her adoptive sister's side, assisting her with the Sky magic users, ignoring what the commentators had to say about this.

As all 4 of them were able to heal Lucy pretty well, she was brought to the infirmary, leaving most everyone in the stadium in worry.
