Chapter 18

The girl snickered, till to the point where she was laughing like the demon had said the funniest joke in the world.

Not wasting another second laughing, she head straight at him, with Tanjiro tailing behind her, as they both fought him with everyone trying to heal up.

Tanjiro continued doing the 13th form, as Y/N started to lead onto what he was doing, and followed his movements, hoping to make him distracted from the other Hashiras.

As they all watch the enemy started to get slower each minute, they were taking advantage.

Muzan, thinking that the 2 slayers in front of him were getting faster when it really was him who was slowly aging each minute.

"Cawww! 59 minutes until dawn!"

With booms around them, they kept ignoring them the best they could and maintain attacking the enemy.

Tanjiro was near death if it wasn't for Obanai to save him with the help of his snake. 

"Iguro-san, your eyes!"

"Shut up!"

The H/C nodded at this, continuing her attacks, as she watch old scars that Muzan was gifted with from Yoriichi from centuries ago coming back to his skin, showing his weak spots.

As Muzan sees them coming in sight, he starts running away, jumping onto a dragon.

"KIBUTSUJI MUZAN, I WILL SHRED YOU INTO PIECES FOR KILLING MY FRIENDS!" The booming voice yelled directly towards him was heard all over Fiore, as the voice had shaken to his core.

"25 minutes until dawn!"

Muzan had brought his arm up, as it started to swell up, but then stopped, turning it back to its original form, and begun to puke blood, surprising the 3 hunters.

He then froze, where the 3 slayers thought this was their chance, except it wasn't at all.

Inosuke and Zenitsu have woken up from being unconscious too, protecting the 3 as they were unable to move, telling him that he was going to go home with Nezuko.

Y/N, watching Tanjiro's 2 best friends attack Muzan, joined them in the middle of the fight, as Y/N was losing consciousness. 

As she stood up, fighting against the sleep, she peered over to see Tanjiro stabbing Muzan in the chest at a wall, cornering him, with Mitsuri assisting him with the kill.

"Kill him already!" She shouted, crying in an agony at the multiple deaths she had witnessed as she made her way here, with the other Hashiras that remained alive helping him.

At once, Muzan's space was split in half, making a largemouth, as Tanjiro froze.

As Muzan lean forward to take a bite out of Tanjiro, Obanai took the bite and shouted "Hold him, it's the dawn! Just keep holding out, everyone!"

Suddenly, time repeated again, with Tanjiro in front of Muzan still, Obanai not in front of him, and Y/N, remembered her past this time.

Rushing towards where Obanai had sacrificed his neck for Tanjiro, she sliced off Muzan's enormous mouth, with Obanai yelling "Hold him, it's the dawn! Just keep holding out, everyone!"

The albino-haired demon, who saw the sun, started screeching, destroying the surrounding around them as Tanjiro and Y/N, who quickly grabbed onto the hilt of his katana, pushed him forward at the wall.

Tanjiro, with one of his arms bleeding, watched as Muzan burning from the sun. Y/N, now remembering everything from the past, knew they were fortunate to fight where the sun would appear first.

With Y/N distracted, the demon king turned himself into an ugly large infant, prepared to swallow the 2 up.

Swiftly, Y/N grabbed Tanjiro by his wrist, and threw him with the remaining energy she had, far from where he originally was located.

"Connell-san!"

As Tanjiro and Giyuu watched Y/N being absorbed into Muzan, he ignored the 2 in front of him, and start crawling towards the nearest area with shade.

"Don't let him enter the shade, finish him!" Kiriya shouted as the remaining slayers were doing their best to stop the tremendous baby to get to any shade.

As all the Hashiras and hunters kept revealing Muzan into the sun, as he wept like a child on the outside, but on the inside, slightly crying from knowing his fate.

Attempting to dig underground, "He's going underground, stop him!" Someone shouted, with everyone making their way to make the demon die already.

Finally, as the infant was burning from the sun, everyone was watching in relief. They've finally killed their enemy that had been alive for centuries.

As all the slayers and Kakashi were stable enough to assist in helping others, Hashiras were making their last goodbyes.

"Leave me, don't use your medicine, it's too late for me. You'll end up wasting your valuable medicine."

"Himejima-san..."

"Now go to the other young ones. Please, it's my final wish." He said, his eyes now shut, tears falling down his face as he smiled, as he took his last breath.

"Iguro-san, we won?..."

"Yeah, we won, Muzan's dead."

"That's good... My body doesn't hurt at all, it looks like I'll die very soon."

As the now announced couple proposed to each other as they died happily hugging each other, Shinazugawa was near death and met his dead family.

As others were dying, and helping, a certain H/L H/C haired girl watched them, her pupils now slit, and her skin pale, hiding in the shade.

"Where's Connell-san?!" Tanjiro shouted, with Nezuko who was holding onto her brother, scared for him to be gone.

"Sky Dragon Magic: Heal," The said girl chanted, healing those around her.

At once, everyone who heard her turned their attention to her, watching as she stayed in the shade, but enough to show her new features.

"C-Connell-san?"

Turning her back towards them, she charged at where she smelled dragons, and within minutes, was in the dark again, with buildings going from undamaged to complete obliteration.

She arrived at Crocus, watching the dragons in the air.

Growing wings, this time instead of dragon ones, demonic ones, she flew, and slam her leg at a dragon, throwing it at the ground, with dust surrounding it.

"What the hell was that?!" Voices around her yelled, as the now demon girl watched the dragon struggle to stand.

Kicking the dragon in the face, making it go a couple of feet away, she chuckled, lifting her hands up at the orange dragon.

"Demon Blood Art: Acid Thunder." with the orange dragon burning, as he roared in pain, slowly dying from the chemical. 

Turning her attention to the west, she sees a certain door: Eclipse.

Flapping her wings, she starts making her way there with people beneath her confused as she smashed dragons out of her way.

Y/N takes notice of Lucy and Yukino, who both looked extremely exhausted with spirits in front of them and the door as it seemed before they were interrupted by a voice.

"Demon Blood Art: Lighting Struck," 

At once, multiple lightings appeared around the structure, only to destroy it, along with future Rogue and Natsu crashing towards the giant door.

Lucy states "The Eclipse door is destroyed!" and cheers with Yukino, who managed a small smile, as they haven't noticed what Y/N had said at the beginning of her Blood Art or as they thought of magic.

Y/N walks up to the blackout Rogue, and stares at him intensely, as the wizards behind her talk about what to do next.

Arcadios disbelieved that Natsu easily and Y/N had easily destroyed the Eclipse dor so easily, that was made out of Maginanium metal, one of the strongest metals in Fiore, was demolished like it was nothing.

As dragons and other creatures that didn't belong in this time era were slowly evaporating into nothing, going back into their own time, the new Queen of Demons was growling.

Joys were celebrated in the air, as Natsu grinned at Y/N's back, waiting for her to turn her head at them.

"We won the battle!"

Future Rogue then wakes up, looking at his fingers as he watches himself fade away.

"The Rogue I know will never become you."

"Shadow..." Future Rogue muttered, having Natsu not understanding what he said.

"The shadow sucks me in, it hounds me relentlessly... The darkness within me will never go away. The day Frosch died, that was the day that the shadow and I became one."

"Frosch won't die!"

"In one year, tell the other me to protect Frosch a year from now. Frosch will be killed by-"

Future Rogue was interrupted, leaving nobody but Natsu to hear who will kill Frosch in the future.

"EVERYONE, MOVE AWAY FROM CONNELL-SAN! SHE'S NO LONG HUMAN!"
