I stared at the roof of my new room. It felt weird not having Jacob waking me up at an odd hour claiming a new problem every time. I also missed Billy ramming me in the back of the legs with his wheelchair to wake me up fully. I did find myself worrying about the boys, I mean who was going to make them bacon every morning. I knew Jacob wouldn't since he thinks the bacons out to get him and Billy couldn't reach the stove top without burning himself.

"Alex, time to get up!" I rolled over in my sheets debating actually getting out of bed.

Today must have been one of those depression days.

"Coming!" I threw my sheets off and I was instantly met with the cold February air brushing against my legs despite me wearing heavy fleece pants.

I threw on a random sweater as I rushed out my bedroom door. It wasn't a long walk down the hallway till I was in the dinning room. I smelled the air and smiled at the familiar smell of cinnamon buns.

"Cinnamon buns?" I stood on my toes to look over Emily's shoulder.

"You've got a good nose." She turned around and tapped my nose as she handed me a plate with a large cinnamon bun neatly placed on it.

I skipped to the table and dropped down on a chair with my legs tucked under me. I stabbed my fork into the sweet pastry. A billow of steam came out of the holes caused by the fork and I didn't hesitate to shove the hot bun into my mouth. I opened my mouth once in a while to stop the burning but that didn't stop me from attacking my breakfast. It didn't take me long till I was done and Emily took my plate so I could get dressed for school.

I didn't bother really paying attention to the clothes I grabbed and just went along with it. I pulled on the dark grey track pants and the maroon crew neck sweater with little care for what I may look like. I shoved my feet into my worn out converse and grabbed my beige aviator jacket before leaving my room once again. I grabbed my new set of keys and my wallet off the tray by the front door and made sure all my money was still there-you never know.

"I'm leaving now, bye love you." I kissed Emily's cheek quickly and told her to tell Sam I'd see him after school.

I loaded onto my bike and drove a little faster than normal. I wanted that thrill I only got when I was riding with the Cullens-they always drove too fast. I ended up stopping behind Bella's truck but didn't bother signalling that I was behind her. As much as I missed talking to her, she seemed different in an irritating way. I knew if I talked to her I'd find something to only irritate me more.
