👫Chapter 35 Daniel and Rachel Redfern👫

Daniel and Rachel were not the happy couple you would think that they were. They loved each other but the love had become tattered with Daniel's infidelities. Daniel would have been faithful if polygamy had been allowed in Ireland, but it was not. It was not even allowed in the countries they had moved to in hopes that his sexual interests would settle down.

It was not the case. No matter where he went, he ended up with one stable woman on the side. It upset Rachel no end to think that she was not enough for him. They had hidden his infidelities from the children, and in fact any disagreement they had was hidden from everyone. All people saw was a happy loving couple. The only person aware of their issues was Sasha, as it was, she who was recruited to look after the kids so that they could re establish their commitment and love for each other.

It was an abysmal failure. They had decided to divorce when they came home to an empty house. One that had the smell of being vacant for months. It should not have had that smell anymore as the girls and Sasha were supposed to have been living there the past 2 weeks. They looked through the house and came to the girl's bedroom. The first thing they noticed was the beds were unmade and had clearly been that way for awhile as there was now dust on all the furniture in the room.

Rachel sat down on one of the beds in shock. "What could have happened?" she asked Daniel.

"I do not know, but how can we tell them our decision if they are missing?" he stated before continuing on with, "We should ring Sasha, perhaps something happened and they had to sleep at a Hotel."

Rachel nodded, "That's a good idea, but I don't think it likely, you know how the girls are with making sure their beds are made."

Daniel nodded, as he remembered the hissy fit Elizabeth had thrown when she was on her way to school and had forgotten to make it. She made her parents turn around so that she could do just that.

Rachel pulled out her phone and dialled Sasha's number. They heard a phone ringing from the bedside table. Daniel reached over and answered it "Hello?" he said hesitantly.

Rachel said, "Oh no..." and he heard it through the phone. The phone was clearly Sasha's. It had been left behind. They were about to fall into a panic, alerting the authorities when Rachel noticed a letter in the centre of the room. "What is this?" she asked, picking it up. On the envelope it said "Mum and Dad" followed by "Daniel and Rachel".

Daniel and Rachel opened it up to find the following letters inside. The first they read was from Sasha.

Dear Daniel and Rachel,

I am writing to let you know that we are all safe, but we ended up in the fairy realm by accident. I didn't realise it but the girls room held an old fairy portal and when I said:-

By earth and air,
By fire and water,
This tween time, this darkest hour,
We call upon the sacred power
So shall you hear my call,
Powers of birth and rebirth
Powers of silence and peace
Command the unseen to be shown
The way to be open
So said I
So mote it be.

We were transferred to the fae. The person I told you about when I was 15 is here and we are married now. I won't be returning so please close up my affairs.

Funny thing, Elizabeth is also married and Susan is engaged. Fae laws are different and neither planned for it to happen, it just did out of our ignorance about their ways.

They are both decent men who are waiting for them to grow up as they realise that the girls are too young. They wouldn't be able to survive in our world, so I am asking - can you please use the above spell and come here?
