After the graduation play, the life of those in the performing department became more relaxed and went back to normal when there were no classes in the afternoon.

Chi Ying hadn't been able to spend time with Chi Cheng for a long while and she felt guilty about it. She went home early today to pick him up from school.

The kindergarten that Chi Cheng attended was an elite noble kindergarten that emphasized on elite education. Each class has only 20 students but was equipped with two teachers graduated from the best psychology departments nationwide.

When Chi Ying arrived at the kindergarten, Chi Cheng was still in his art class.

Li EnQing, the class teacher, came over to chitchat with Chi Ying and told her that it was rare to see kids as mature as Chi Ying in the many years in her profession.

Teacher Li also said that Chi Ying had given Chi Cheng so much love that he was able to develop the sense of security and confidence in his early years that had allowed him to handle external changes and be bring out the beautiful side of his nature.

Chi Ying merely smiled at her. She knew that most of the work was done by the original owner; it wasn't her credit at all.

Chi Cheng hadn't expected his mother to come and pick her up. The moment that he spotted Chi Ying, his dark, black eyes lit up.

He couldn't wait to run up to her, flipped his backpack in front of him, and pulled up the craft that he had just made in class.

"This is Mommy, and this is me," said Chi Cheng as he pointed at the cartoon adult and child pandas drawn on a card. In between the two of them was a bright red heart.

Chi Ying admired his drawing earnestly.

The lines in the drawing very distinctive and the colors intense. It was not difficult to tell that each line with drawn with great force.

There was a peculiar feeling in her hear, as though she was able to see Chi Cheng's hidden desire from this drawing.

Chi Ying's lips curved and she asked him gently, "Does Little ChengCheng want to go see the giant pandas? What say we go see them on Saturday?"

Chi Cheng nodded forcefully without hesitation.

After they have arrived home, there was an uncontrollable smile on Chi Cheng's childish face the entire night.

His eyes were lit up and filled with joy.

Even Jing Zheng couldn't help but laughed. "What happened at the kindergarten that made ChengCheng so happy?"

Chi Cheng climbed into his grandmother's chest and smiled a happy smile. "Mommy said she will be taking me to the zoo on Saturday."

Looking at Chi Cheng's eyes that had stars inside, Chi Ying's felt a sense of warmth washed over herself.

In the few days that followed, owing to her role as the female lead in the graduation play, Chi Ying received some invitations for auditions and even some contracts from some entertainment companies.

Chi Ying put together a schedule and every day was booked full except the entire day Saturday was left open.

She would follow through with what she had promised.

"Sting Yourself" was a novel that was popular throughout the entire nation for the first half of the year.

Peiyu Television & Media Company pulled a lot of strings and spent a large amount of money to be the first to obtained the rights to turn "Sting Yourself" into a movie. That has inevitably hurt the company as well.

Qi HongCheng is a contracted director of Peiyu and also the primary director for "Sting Yourself".

He was just stressing over the budget the day before. "Sting Yourself" was very well known and if the movie turned out to be less than desirable, he would be brutally torn apart by criticisms online. That would also hurt Peiyu's reputation and all their hard work would be in vain.

The new round of investment from Lu JingYan couldn't have come at a better time.
