Wishes - A Heroes of Olympus Soulmate AU

I enter the cafeteria on the last day of school before Winter Break, searching for my friends. I find them on the far side of the room, sitting near the popular boys. of course. It was school etiquette for the popular kids to sit near each other.

I sit at my table along with Piper, Hazel, Calypso, Thalia, and Reyna. Hazel start's looking dreamily at Frank Zhang, one of the most popular boys in school. It's pretty obvious that she likes him, but he's oblivious. Like everyone at his table. Especially Perc- Nevermind.

"Hey guys!" I say as I uncap my water bottle. They all greet me and we chatter about our breaks until the bell rings. We all pack up and leave the cafeteria, all going to our next classes. Me and Thalia walk to debate together.

~time skip to after school~

Me and Piper walk out of school gossiping and start the walk to our favorite after school stop, Rise Cafe. Once we get there we hear some familiar voices.

"Guys! Hi!" 

"Hey!"

We turn around to see Jason and Percy, the most popular boys in school, sitting in a booth, eating cookies, looking towards us. 

Piper waves. "Hey Jason! What's up?"

Percy scoffs "Uh, I'm here too." and he sarcastically rolled his eyes.

"Hi Percy." I say and smile at him. He smiles back. His smile is so- normal. average. not at all good looking. Yep...

Piper goes to sit down with them as I order a chocolate muffin for Piper and a cherry tart for me. Once I get the food I sit down in the booth. 

Piper grabs her muffin "Anna, did you finish the playlist?" Me and Piper make playlists for our friends, and were working on one for Percy right now. I elbow her. She shoots me an apologetic face. 

"What playlist?" Percy asks, confused.

"Oh, nothing." I glare at Piper, who was eating her muffin and looking around.

I roll my eyes and she giggles. Percy and Jason look at each other confused but continue on with the conversation, talking to us about Swim Team and Football and shit.

We talk for a long time, and before I know it, it's time for me to go home. I wave goodbye and rush to my apartment building, hoping Helen isn't home already, but oh look, she is. that's just great.

Sorry for the super short chapter and the terrible writing, I just wanted to get it out :)
