Chapter 5

Davina's POV

"We aren't terrible people Davina. Try not to judge us before you get to know us."

I sighed.
"It's not that I just don't want to live with two guys. Not because of who you are more of what you are."

"What do you mean?"

"Guys make me uncomfortable."

I looked up from the kitchen table at the sound of footsteps coming downstairs. Knowing it was Tristan I didn't spare him a glance.
"All of your stuff is moved in."

"Thanks."

I don't know why but I'm much more at ease around Alex. It's not like Tristan makes me uncomfortable Alex is just easier to talk to. He doesn't talk much but he listens better and he opens up more.

"You're here so we can keep you safe Davina. If you really want to you can hide in your room until this blows over."

I sighed.
"It's fine Alex. I can deal with living with two guys for a little while. Besides, if I hide in my room the whole time I can't raid your fridge or watch shows on that massive television I saw when I walked in."

I looked up at Alex and we both immediately started laughing.

"What do you like to watch?"

At the sound of his voice I looked over at a shirtless Tristan in nothing but sweatpants grabbing milk from the fridge.

"Anything fantasy or horror."
I'm good at hiding my emotions. Despite the fact that him shirtless was doing all kinds of things to me I did my best to hide it.

"Well if you're fine with that then we would like to join you for a movie sometime."

I looked at Alex and despite my discomfort, if I'm going to be living with these guys then I need to get used to having them around me a lot.

I won't have Charlie or Blake to distract me or keep me company. They're off the grid so they can't even call me.

"Sure."

Alex smiled bright at my response.

"It's getting late we should all get some sleep. My men are out looking for him. They'll report here if they find him."

"Okay. Goodnight boys."

I walk upstairs to my new room.

At first glance I can already tell the bed is comfy. Thank God.

I go to my suitcase sat on my dresser and begin putting things away.

I leave out a pair of pajamas on the dresser so I'd have something to sleep in.

I take my clothes off leaving me in just my black pair of underwear and a bra and decide to just play on my phone until I'm tired.

I lay on my back on the bed and start playing a game to pass the time.
