Davina's POV

Don't get me wrong. I'm definitely nervous.

But it's not because I'm worried they won't like me.

If I'm honest I don't know why I'm worried. I just have a weird feeling about today.

I was dressed in a tight black dress with white trim. Both of the boys were wearing dark slacks. Alex had a button up white cotton shirt while Tristan had a button up navy blue silk shirt.

As we got out of the car to go inside and meet their families I brushed my dress off out of nerves.

Looking up at the house you could tell it's nothing but elegant inside and out.

That's something I've never had before the boys.

I mean, being the preacher's daughter doesn't come with money. Especially the money they're used to.

Alex knocked on the door softly and they both rested a hand on my back.

Before the door opened Tristan turned to me and looked down.

"It'll be fine."

Taking a deep breath we walked inside when someone opened the door.

"Hello I'm May, Alex's mother."

I smiled at her.
"It's nice to meet you."

Her husband I'm assuming came up and rested his hand on her lower back.

If that's not her husband I would be a little concerned. Especially since he kissed her on the cheek before he spoke.
"We've heard great things."

The hand that wasn't resting on her back reached out for me to shake.
"I'm Ben, it's nice to finally put a face to the name that the boys won't shut up about."

"Won't shut up about huh?"
I turned my glance to them to give them a teasing smirk.

"I wish I could say the same sadly the boys haven't told me a thing about any of you."

Alex's mother turned a hard glare onto her son.

"Ahem, why don't we go meet the rest of the family."
Alex quickly guided me away from them, Tristan following behind.

They introduced me to everyone.

I learned that Oakley is asexual.

Bailey is Bisexual and in an on off relationship with a guy named Chad. The name alone is a walking red flag.

Tristan's sisters Alicia and Eva are single. Not by choice they're just married to work.
They own a multi million dollar company that works to protect women more.

They're trying to fight to make things equal between the two genders.

I don't blame them. I would be married to work too if I was working for a cause like that.

Especially since the punishment for abortion after rape is 90 years in some countries while rape itself gets 3-6 years. Sometimes less.

Tristan's parents are in an open relationship which is a stark difference compared to Alex's parents who are very much a regular couple.

Once we all got to know each other and got the small talk over with we made out way upstairs.

After I offered to help with dinner and got denied of course.

They led me upstairs to a bedroom I presume is theirs. Once the door was closed I turned to them and asked the question that's been plaguing me since I got here.
"They don't think it's weird to be with both of you?"

Tristan had started unpacking some of the stuff we had brought but he stopped when my question reached his ears.

"Of course not. We've shared partners since we were in college."
That's when Alex cut in.
"It's kind of hard not to notice when they showed up to our dorm in college and heard noises and-"

"Okay OKAY I get it."

Alex laughed a little.
"So long as we're happy that's all that matters to them. And we're very happy."

"Okay you big sap."

I helped Tristan unpack and we all laid down on the bed while we waited for dinner to be done.

Once we were called down we sat at the table with everyone.

I looked up from my plate of food when Eva started speaking.
"Davina, since you're the first decent girlfriend the boys have had I think it's time you hear some embarrassing stories."

"Ooh yes definitely."
Alicia got very giddy at the prospect of embarrassing her brother and Alex.

Oakland, who told me he prefers to be called Oakley, hasn't said much to me since I arrived.

But he must've liked the idea because he smiled for the first time since I got here.

I thought he didn't like me but Alex assured me he's just shy.

When Bailey spoke up the boys immediately tried to shush her.
"Remember the tree house incident?"

"You know what that's enough. I think it's about time we head home and-"

"They had girls up there. Mom told them not to bring their conquests in the house so they brought them into the treehouse dad built."

Then Oakley spoke up.
"Yeah they were weird. One was just creepy and the other was very insistent about trying something they weren't into so they asked her to leave. When she wouldn't they had to threaten to call the cops."

Tristan's mom spoke up.
"She threw a hissy fit and fell on her ass into a mud puddle."

As Tristan's dad spoke he let out a laugh.
"Suffice to say she never came back. I'm glad they chose the right girl this time."

"So when do we get a wedding? Or grandkids?"
Alex's mom spoke up and I immediately got upset.

"Excuse me. I need to use the bathroom."

I walked upstairs to the bathroom and locked myself in.

The boys must've gotten worried because I heard their knock on the door only a couple minutes later.
"Davina?"

"Are you okay princess? Let us in."

I sighed and walked over to unlock the door.

They walked in and I was immediately met with their worried glances.

"What's going on? Is everything okay?"

Taking a deep breath, I spoke.
"There's something you should know."
