Alex's POV

Don't get me wrong, we're so happy to have her back but she's been distant since we found her.

I understand that a lot has happened but in my gut I just know it's something else.

She tries to put on a face and act like everything's normal but me and Tristan can tell something is off.

"We still haven't found Brandon yet."

I let out a sigh.
"We'll catch him. Don't worry."

"She's healing so that's good. The doctor said most of her injuries were minor except the marks to her back."

"That's good."

That's when we heard a crash upstairs.

Both of us stopped what we were doing and raced upstairs.

Opening Davina's bedroom door we saw her standing over broken glass trying to clean it up.

"Davina. It's fine leave it we can just get the broom."

She ignored us and continued trying to pick it up.

Tristan stepped over and wrapped his hands around her small ones.
"Stop before you get hurt princess."

It took some convincing but finally she stopped trying to clean the mess.

"What happened?"

"It was on my desk. I reached over it to grab a pen and it fell and broke. I'm sorry."

"It's fine. We're loaded we can just buy another one princess."

She scoffed a bit at that.
"Clearly not loaded enough to buy a bigger couch."

I started to laugh.
"Tristan actually did that on purpose when we first moved in so he could have an excuse to sit closer to me. He's like a puppy. He craves attention."

We both started giggling while Tristan was berating us like we were children.

"Davina. We actually had something we wanted to ask you let's clean this mess up first though."
She looked up at Tristan as he spoke.

She got up and made her way downstairs to get the broom after convincing us that she could do it and that we didn't have to.

Once she finished sweeping she sat on her bed and looked at us.
"What's up?"

"We wanted to do something more romantic but after what happened we thought we shouldn't waste anymore time-"
I stopped talking so as to let Tristan finish my sentence.
"Will you be our girlfriend?"

A smile spread over her face.
"It's about time! I thought I'd have to go find someone else to date."

Tristan frowned at that.
"I thought we already had this conversation."

"I'm kidding calm down. Yes I'll be your girlfriend you dorks."

Tristan sat down next to her and kissed her. I haven't seen him this happy in a while.
