Davina's POV

Light streaming in through the curtains woke me up.

Annoyed at the light I covered my head with the blanket and groaned loudly.

Tristan laughed at my obvious annoyance.

What a dick. Can't he be nice for once and just close the fucking blinds? Why do I keep him around if he won't do things for me when I'm lazy?

"Tristan just close the curtains."
Tristan scoffed at Alex's voice.

"You're both big wimps. It's time to get up anyways."
Landing a soft smack on my thigh he started speaking again but I'm gonna be honest I tuned him out a while ago.

"Up princess. Now. Both of you."

I giggled at that and started playing with Alex's hair.
"You hear that princess?"

"I hate you."
He got up out of bed, pulled on a pair of boxers and shuffled out of the room.

"Get dressed. I wanted to ask you something."

"No."

He had started walking to the door before I spoke but my answer made him pause.
"What do you mean no?"

"Well the last time you told me you wanted to ask me something you asked me to go out with you. I'm not marrying you or having kids with you yet."

"Princess I wasn't going to ask you any of those things."

"Good."
Getting up I walked to my dresser and pulled out clothes.

I started pulling them on but I stopped at the sound of his voice.
"What did you mean by yet?"

"I meant maybe someday. That day isn't today. Keep your breeding kink in check."

He rolled his eyes and made his way to the door again. Before walking out he turned to me and started his yammering.
"Hurry up."

I'm glad he can't read my mind. I'm so mean to him sometimes. But I can't help it when he sounds like a nagging granny.

Once I finished putting my clothes on I made my way downstairs and sat down at the table next to Alex.

"Can you not cook Alex? I don't think I've ever seen you cook."

"I can cook ramen? That's about the extent of my abilities."

"No no I mean of course not. Who needs to know how to cook when you can suck dick well."

"Exactly. That's what I said when I first moved in with Tristan."

That's when the devil himself walked in and decided to grace us with his presence.

He rolled his eyes at our childish antics before setting plates down in front of us.

"So what did you want?"

He chuckled a bit at my response.
"Straight to business already."

When I didn't reply with a joke like usual he continued.

"Every year mine and Alex's families get together for a barbeque to catch up since all of us are so close."

"Since we're official now we thought you might want to come. Our families can be a bit, what's the word?"

"Annoying. Pushy. Nosey. You don't have to go but we would love it if you would."

"Sure. I've always wanted to do the cliche meet the parents type deal."

He smiled at my answer.
"Good I'm glad. Now don't worry about impressing them and don't get worked up because they'll love you."

"I'm not worried. Families love me. I'm amazing."

It's not me being cocky. It's just facts.

I am the best.
