Chapter 23

Alex's POV

Davina was really tired out from all the excitement.

As soon as we got home and her head hit the pillow she passed out.

Tristan and I both had adrenaline still pumping through our veins from the little incident with the guy at the fair.

Neither of us could shut our minds off so once Davina fell asleep we made our way downstairs and made ourselves comfortable on the couch.

Once Tristan got cozy I laid down with my head in his lap. If it were Davina she would play with my hair as she talked about the movie we were watching.

Not Tristan. He brought his hand to my neck and just placed the palm against my Adams apple and just lightly rested it there, his thumb drawing little patterns on my neck.

He kept his focus on the movie, never speaking just staring at it.

He removed his hand from my neck and lightly brought it down and traced a light path till he reached the edge of my pants.

Still keeping his focus on the movie, he brought his hand under my shirt and lifted it up.
"I think I have an idea on how we can get rid of some of this adrenaline."

My breath caught in my throat. I was about to reply when we heard stumbling from upstairs.

We dashed up off the couch and made our way upstairs to Davina.

"What happened?"

She started mumbling quietly, we couldn't hear a word leaving her mouth.
"Princess what happened?"

Tristan's demanding voice caught her attention.
"I had my period.."

She was red in the face and looked a little upset.
"That's nothing to be embarrassed about why do you look upset princess?"

Tears started to fall from her eyes.
"No shit it's nothing to be embarrassed about, periods are normal. It's not that it's just-"

We looked at her curiously waiting for her to continue.

She brought her gaze from the floor to gauge our expressions. She must've noticed we weren't rushing her because she replied.

"I was kind of hoping that- you know."

"I'm not sure I understand.."
I looked at her confusingly.

She sighed and brought a hand over her face.
"I was hoping I was pregnant."

The room went silent. You could hear a pin drop.

"Davina. If you're ready we are more then happy to make that happen for you."

"Really?"
She looked so hopeful. We most definitely wanted to be dad's but even if we didn't one look from her and our minds would've changed.

"Of course. Do you need me to get you anything? Snacks, drinks, blankets, pillows, pads, tampons?"
She chucked a little at my eagerness to help.

"I have everything I need but if you want to pamper me I wouldn't say no to you making me dinner? Cuddles are essential." When Tristan and I agreed she spoke up again.

"And maybe breakfast in bed tomorrow?"

"Don't push it."
Tristan smirked, all of us knowing full well he would do whatever she wanted.

"I am not having sex with either of you while I'm on my period but I would appreciate being able to watch as you guys have the fun without me."

"Oh of course. How could we ever leave our princess out?"

She smiled at him.
"Oh and princess? Right after it's over I hope you know I plan to fill you up until you get that baby you seem to be begging for. Think about that. By the time it's over you'll be so worked up I won't even have to prep you."

Her breath caught in her throat.

I smiled at them.
"So what's for dinner."

"It's a surprise."
