Chapter 7

Davina's POV

I walked downstairs and stopped when I heard the boys whispering.

"We can't Tristan we promised her we would all spend the day together before I left to meet with our suppliers."

I heard Tristan sigh.
"I know but we have to meet dangerous people. If that wasn't bad enough it's in a bdsm club. The poor girl has probably never stepped foot in one."

I frowned and stepped out from my hiding spot.

"I'm going."

"Davina you can't. I-"

I cut him off.
"And I've said this before but I can handle myself. I'm going."

"Davina please. These guys are dangerous."

I smiled at Tristan. That's the first time he's said something nice about me.

"I promised Alex I would keep you alive."

And he ruined it..

"I'll be fine I'll wait by the bar for you guys to finish with these guys you're meeting with."

Tristan sighed and then turned to look at Alex.

"Okay fine. Don't leave the bar. Understood?"

"Yes sir."

I ran upstairs to my room to get dressed.

Tristan's POV

I could hear her walking around upstairs and I couldn't help but smile at how excited she was.

It was cute.

As soon as that thought entered my brain I mentally cursed myself.

Not again.

We told each other we wouldn't share another partner after what happened with the last girl.
(Just to be clear she's not dead)

I can't be catching feelings for her.

I can't do that to Alex.

"Do you think we can keep them from interacting with her?"

I sighed.
"I hope so."

I looked up and saw him fiddling with his sleeves.
He was biting his lip and staring at the table worriedly.

I reached my palm to cover his hands to stop their incessant moving.
"It'll be fine Alex. I promise. We won't let anything happen to her."

I saw him visibly relax at my words.

I pulled my hand away at the sound of footsteps.

We both looked to the stairs to see her.
