Riley's POV
I'm starting eighths grade today with my best friends Maya and Farkel. Sadly my brother Eliot is starting eighth garde.
M:"You ready"
R:"Yup"
E:"Hurry up and let's go"
R:"Alright"
We walk into the subway and maya noticed something.
M:"Let's see how cool you can be when you look at him"
I turn around and I see a tall guy with sandy blonde hair.
R:"ooooo"
E:"Maya don't get my sister into boys "
M:"to late "
Maya grabs my hand and let's it go. I fall and next thing you know I'm on his lap.
R:"Sorry I'm Riley"
L:"I'm Lucas I'm new to New York maybe you can show me around"
R:"I'd love to um here's my number (914)-15"
Suddenly I feel someone pulling me.
R:"Eliot !!"
E:"Lets go "
R:"Ughhh"
I storm out of the subway.
M:"Eliot why did you do that" she said while giving him a peack on this cheek.
Oh ya did forget to mention that my best friend and brother are going out.
E:"To young for boys"
M:"We're the same age and I have a boyfriend and its you"
E:"But she's my little sister"
R:"You are so annoying"
Me ,maya, Eliot, and enter my dads class. Lucky me my brother flunked my dads class last year and I also have gym and art with him sense they mix up those classes with seventh and eighth graders.
F:"Hello Ladies"
M&R:"Farkel"
E:"Stop hitting on my girl and sister"
M:"He's just our best friend"
E:"That has had a crush on both of you sense first grade "
R:"Why are you being so annoying today"
C:"What did you do that you already annoyed your sister twice"
E:"She was going to give her number to a guy but I pulled her off the subway"
C:"Good boy"
E:"Thank you father"
R:"You two are so annoying"
The bell finally rang. I sat down in the front, Maya next to me, Farkel behind her and Eliot next to Maya. Then I hear the door open.
R:"Subway Boy"
C:"Who are you I don't know who you are"
L:"Lucas,Lucas Friar from Austin,Texas sir"
C:"New student Mr.Friar"
L:"Yes sir"
C:"Great you are just in time for today's assignment take a seat"
He sits behind me and I face back
R:"Hey"
L:"Hey"
E:"Riley don't talk to him"
I faced forward.
R:"Here we go again"
*Lunch time*
Me and Maya sit down at a table. I see Lucas trying to find a place to sit. I invite him to sit.
R:"Sorry about earlier"
L:"I guess your boyfriend is just protective"
Me and Maya exchange look and burst out of laughter.
M:"He's her brother and he's my boyfriend"
L:"Oh"
R:"Maya can I have you're grapes"
M:"Sure"
I reach over her plate and grab her grapes. I turn back to Lucas and see my dad and Eliot.
R:"Dad Eliot you have two choices here you can just see it's a boy talking to me or"
E:"We are going with the second choice"
R:"But this is so innocent"
C:"Riley, fathers never see things as innocent. You know Mr. Friar I been to a lot of places but never to Texas. Tell me what is the closes to Mexico?"
L:"That would be El Paso sir"
C:"Great let's go"
And my dad pulls Lucas out of the lunch room.
E:"You stay away from my sister Friar"
