"Tell me what happened."
"Okay"
I let go of our embrace. I wipe my stained tear cheeks.
"It all started yesterday"
We sit against the lockers and I put my head on his shoulder. I tell him the crazy event that happened yesterday. I go into detail about how Alex was acting but I did leave out the detail of what he was reading. By the end of it I'm crying again.
"You know for a split second you think hey maybe this is the one. The one that goes through thick and thin with you. The one that helps you get back on your feet. And in another second you see a side of a person you never seen before and all of those great memories are shattered right before of your eyes."
"What was he reading in your journal that he got so angry" he asked with a confused face.
"Nothing that big"
"It was obviously big"
I quickly get up and start to speed walk away.
"Riley!!"
I turn back.
"Just Leave me alone Lucas"
I get into my car and drive to the airport.
