Quick note: the girl above is Xena's character in the story. :)

Xena

I open the door to my friends boutique to start off my day. Stacy who is my friend helped me when I had to move out from my parents house after dropping out of my first year in college to make music. Since then I  pretty much had no relationship to my parents because of that and only kept close ties to my siblings.

Stacy was the one that offered me a source of income and a roof to live under out in Las Vegas which is where I'm from. I love Stacy and all my friends, and I'll always be grateful for them.

I'm a musician and I love doing it. I would say im pretty decent but the issue is I don't have any connections ,Im not one of those artists that got lucky and were discovered at a young age and I feel the pressure.

I make my way to the cashier to set up and get the store ready for the day. My phone starts buzzing as I walk away so I quickly return to pick up the phone and answer a call from my other friend and roommate, Maria.

"Hello friend!" I say.

"Hey! For our trip to LA I was able to talk to the friend that has connections with a label and he talked to the producer he said it was okay if you wanted to come in and show them any stuff you have." Maria, one of my closest friends since middle school. She's also a big influencer on Instagram so knows a crazy amount of people. It's never hard for her to make friends and that makes her very charming.

"Thank you! I appreciate you for doing that even though you know you didn't have to, but you did anyways. When I get rich you're winning with me." I said excitedly.

"Totally fine, it's what friends are for I just hope you wine and dine me," Maria chuckled. "but I just wanted to start your day off with some good news, be home early so we can get ready to catch our flight tonight! Talk to you later Xe,"

"bye, I'll see you later thanks for everything! Sending you telepathic hugs," i hung up the phone and set it down to go on with my job.

The time in LA was 12 pm. I heard a knock on my door.

"Are we going out to Kevin's birthday party? Get up fucker," Kian said barging into my bedroom to sit on my desk chair. I groaned.

"stop it," I complained. "I was just asking so I can change our plans for Tuesday, when you're awake let me know."

Kian stood up and walked away to converse with the other members of the house, leaving the door open. I hate it when people do that shit. I check my phone to see if I had any messages.

Just a few weeks back I had just gotten out of a relationship. Me and my ex occasionally spoke, i can't deny that i still have feelings for her. I was extremely emotionally invested into that relationship but it almost seems like she didnt want anything to do with me anymore. So what am I going to do? I can't just sit here and wait for her to come back to me. I knew that I could just do my best and move on. After a while of scrolling on Twitter and other media's I finally got up and ready and headed downstairs.

By thats time most of the boys had already left to meet up with other friends or make videos. After moving out of the o2l house i had moved in with Kian and a few other roommates but Kian had decided he wanted to move into his own place and I had found other friends that agreed to move into a house together with me.

I liked the feeling of not being alone and having good company, but i can also agree that somedays its just nice to be alone. I just want someone to be there for me like actually.
