We were at Kevin's and people started to flood into the party drinking and smoking, playing games and what not. I kept looking at the door, I hadn't seen the girls come in to the house yet. I felt my phone buzz and I received a text from an unknown number.

Maybe: Xena
Hey it's Xena, maria lost her phone at the restaurant we were just at, luckily she shared your numbers with us in case of something happening and I'm texting you instead. Can you send us the address to the party?

Yeah, I'm sending you my pinned location.
One pin: my location

Maybe: Xena
Okay thanks, I'll just call you when we're there. Is this kian btw?

Maybe: Xena
See you soon Jc :).

I smiled nervously, changing the contact for her name so I would know when she gives me a call. I store my phone in my pocket and decide to get myself another drink.

We left the restaurant and we were catching an Uber to the party Kian and Jc had invited us to. We were tipsy and already had a few too many drinks at the restaurant but it loosened our vibe a little. We began slowly approaching big houses and the driver dropped us off where there wasn't too many cars, so many people were already here.

"Thanks driver!" I said in a sing song tone exiting the car.

"Call Jc! Tell him we're here I want more drinks!" Stacy yelled in excitement.

"I can't believe I lost my phone," Maria complained.

I picked out my phone and pressed on Jc's number to call. After a few rings he picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hey Jc, we're here out front!" I yelled over the loud music and people.

"Oh okay, hold on I'm going out there!" He shouted as well. I saw his silhouette appear from the crowd and Kian following behind him.

"Come in girls, there's drinks and people smoking, there's games too I'm not sure what you guys are feeling up to but make yourselves comfortable." Kian said to us.

"Oh no way! I know you from Instagram!" Oscar approached Maria and the other girls. Behind him following Dyl and Wyl and Brian.

"Hey can I get a water? I already had a few drinks before coming here and I'm not feeling too hot." I asked Jc.

"Oh yeah come with me I can get you some," jc replied, I followed my way through the kitchen with him.

"Howd it go with the producer your friend said you were meeting?" He asked looking through coolers for drinks.

"I signed, it went well." I said.

"That's neat, I don't know if I've ever heard your music before, I'll have to listen to it later." He said handing me a bottle of water.

"Thank you, appreciate it." I opened the bottle of water and drank from it.

"Wanna come outside with me? I'm already kind of tired of everyone in here." Jc chuckled.

"Yes, we shall." I said exiting to the backyard where there was a nice pool and patio.

We sat farthest away from the crowd at a table beside the pool and talked.

"So when do you leave?" Jc asked, I was looking at his hair and thought how nice his voice sounded and I loved the way tattoos suited his arms.

"I leave in two days," I said snapping out of it. "I like it here a lot but I'm not too bummed about it because I'll constantly be making trips back here since I just signed,"

"So it won't be the last of you I see," he smirked at me and I laughed.

We continued talking to each other and started to get to know one another, we talked about things we liked, things we hated, things we do.

"So where do you want to end up after all of this?"I motioned the crowd and asked him wanting a serious response just because I was actually curious, He looked at me and shrugged while running his fingers through his curly hair.

"I don't know, but I do know that I just want to be happy and settled with someone I love." He said.

"Yeah it does sound nice," I replied taking a sip of water.

"What about you?" He asked me. I thought about it for a while.

"I feel like life's just starting for me honestly but I just want to be happy too, it's hard finding time for things even yourself when you're busy all the time." I answered.

"Yeah, that's actually why my relationship with my ex didn't work out I just didn't have time." He said.

"Bummer," I replied. "I haven't had time for dating either, and the last time I did it didn't go well ." I looked up and found Jc's eyes looking into mine, so soft and kind. He quickly looked away breaking eye contact and smiled off to the side.

"Don't look at me like that." He said and I laughed.

"I wasn't looking at you in any kind of way what are you talking about." I giggled.

We joked around for a bit and then decided to go back inside and have more drinks, and talk with more strangers. I find my friends at this point pretty drunk and having conversations with the guys..

"I'm ready to go back to the hotel," Stacy groaned to Alyssa.

"Uber should be here any minute, I had a lot of fun with these guys." Alyssa said leaning her head back into the couch.

"Where's Maria?" I asked Amalia who was talking to Wyl.

"She went in a room with Oscar." She replied looking at me with a look. I sighed.

"Oh god no I don't want to know why," I said shaking my head.

"Ubers hereee!" Stacy yelled as our queue.

The boys helped walk us out to our ride and dyl carried Alyssa to the car, because she was that drunk. I went to find Jc to say bye before I left.

"Hey Jc! I have to go back to the hotel I'll call you tomorrow because Maria and Oscar are doing god knows what and we probably have to come and get her in the morning," I said.

"Aw come on, you guys can stay a little while!" Kian protested.

"really you're leaving already?" Jc asked looking at me with a frown.

"Yeah I'm sorry but I really have to go! It was so nice getting to know you Jc!" I said walking away in a rush. I looked back again and he seemed disappointed.

Xena walked away in a hurry, there was more I wanted to talk to her about and do but I missed my chance.

"Don't worry brother at least you got her number," kian said patting my back.

I finished my drink and thought to myself, don't catch feelings Jc.
