Chapter twenty-two

They then enter Malfoy Manor. As they enter the living room, they are greeted by a happy Narcissa. "Draco, Y/N. You are finally here. Did you all have a good time?" she asks as she smiles.

They both nod. "Yeah, we played something called Mario Car. Or was it Mario Kart? Anyway, that was quite fun, but it was Potter and Weasley's fault that I did not win!" he says as he huffs. Snape rolls his eyes while Lucius chuckles.

"We also played another game. Something-Topia. That was really fun. We made the Dark Lord the evil guy. Saint Potter was of course the good guy who later turned bad, though. We made a team that you guys were a part of. And we made you the Hero, Professor Snape" Draco states as he looks at Snape who then smirks.

"Is that so?" the Potions Master simply asks. Both Draco and Y/N nod.

Lucius clears his throat. "Let us go and sit by the dinner table. Dinner will be served soon" he states.

Nodding, they all enter the dining room and sit at the dinner table. To the right side of the table is Lucius in the middle. To his right is Draco and to his left is Narcissa. To the left side of the table right across the others is Snape next to Y/N on her left side.

The house elves then emerge to serve the dinner which is some fancy three-course meal. Of course, only the best for the Malfoys and their guests. They all tuck into their meal while having a conversation.

Once in a while, Snape nudges his leg on hers. Y/N blushes at that while Snape just smirks.

When they are finished, Y/N is absolutely stuffed. She can't possibly eat any more. However, when dessert is served, she suddenly regains an appetite and tucks in. The Malfoys and Snape chuckle at the girl.

When dessert is finished as well, they all then enter the living room to drink some tea while chatting. Lucius sighs in pleasure. "I did miss your tea, Cissy" he says as he sips on the tea that his wife made.

Narcissa smiles. "I am glad to hear that, Lucius. I missed making tea for more people than just myself" she says as she sighs.

Draco suddenly says something he probably shouldn't have said. "I miss Snape's coffee, though. When can we visit you again? This time we won't have to hide from Y/N, thank Merlin" he says as he thinks about that time.

Y/N looks absolutely shocked and confused while the three adults glare at Draco. He then realises what he said and starts to sweat.

"U-um, I mean... I miss your coffee when we visited you right after we were pardoned" he says as he gives a nervous laugh. It's too late, though.

Y/N looks at Snape. "They were there the whole time?" she quietly asks.

Snape sighs. "No, they first came a few days before you arrived" he admits.

Y/N has tears in her eyes. "Why didn't you tell me? I wouldn't have told anyone! Not even my friends!" she says as she starts to sob. They all look guilty at her.

Narcissa gives her a tight hug. "Shh, we are so sorry, sweetheart" she says as she comforts the sobbing girl.

Snape sighs once more. "I thought it was best not to tell you. Lucius did want me to let you know, by the way. I am the only one to blame here" he says as he slowly hates himself for not telling her.

Y/N then goes to hug Snape tightly, sobbing while burying her face in his chest. "I'm sorry, I'm not mad at you. I get why you didn't tell me. But please, never keep something like that away from me" she says as she looks at him with teary doe eyes.

Snape gives a small smile as he wipes away her tears. "Of course. I promise, princess" he says as he whispers "princess" so only she hears it. She smiles at that.
