I appreciate Mari's feelings, if she considers me to be the tenth member of Aqours, then so be it.

But to me, I will always be a Nijigasaki High School Idol Club member. Nothing will change that.

I parted ways with Mari, she took a boat back to Awashima, while I continued walking back to the Tochiman Inn.

Along the way, I noticed someone familiar, looking pretty sad. Someone taking their time walking back from school.

RIKO: *Sigh*

AKI: "Riko, are you okay?"

RIKO: "Hm? Ohhh... Yeah, I'm fine... I probably am fine, yeah..."

AKI: "You don't seem fine to me."

RIKO: "We haven't even started practice yet. Neither have we locked anything in for our costumes, choreography, or setlist. Nothing."

AKI: "Today's only your first day of preparations, you can't get everything done in a day. A lot of the stuff that needs to be decided takes time."

RIKO: "But what if we don't get anything done tomorrow, either? Both Mari and Yoshiko are unstoppable when they get all excited."

AKI: "You did your best..."
