"Esther asked us to meet her here, I don't exactly know where that is but there's directions so.. that's something." Kol shrugged.

"Obviously we aren't just going to listen to her right?" Hayley asked.

"We want to see what this new power is just as much as she does. So yeah, we're going." Kol said.

"What he means, is when we meet her we're going to destroy her so she can't use the new power like Were sure she plans to." Klaus corrected.

"Hm, okay." Hayley said, realizing where they were supposed to meet. She looked up at Rebekah.

Rebekah frowned and shook her head, "Do we all need to go?"

"We're all involved sister, so yes." Elijah said.

Shit, Rebekah and Hayley thought.

"Alright let's go, it's almost 8 and she wants us there by sundown." Klaus said, Elijah and Kol following behind him as they left.

"Shit! That's the moon pool!" Rebekah said quietly.

"I know. But we have to act normal. Come on." Hayley said.

Rebekah nodded and they followed after the guys.

They reached the place where Esther wanted them to meet, Kol frowned.

"It's a weird.. cave pool?" He said.

"Seems so." Rebekah said, looking around the all too familiar place.

"Yes, but as you see here, there is an opening atop the hill where the moon will shine through. Although some of you already knew that." Esther said, appearing almost out of thin air.

Rebekah and Hayley glanced at each other but remained quiet.

Esther chuckled, "Yes, you two. You know, I didn't expect it to be you two but now it makes sense."

"Who are you talking about?" Kol asked.

"Why, you already knew I was talking about Hayley." Esther said, using her power to pull Hayley to her and then to the very edge of the pool.

Hayley lost her balance and almost fell in. Rebekah's eyes widened for a moment.

"But I'm sure you didn't know that your own sister has been lying to you." Esther said, looking at Rebekah.

"I knew it was you two." Kol crossed his arms over his chest.

Esther pulled Rebekah to the opposite side of the pool from Hayley. The moon came over the opening and the water began to bubble, Rebekah smiled at the memory of the first time she saw it.

Hayley knew what she was thinking, but the moment was ruined when they remembered where they were.

Esther tried to use her magic to push them into the pool but she found it was missing. Rebekah smiled when she realized Esther couldn't use her magic while the moon had control of the pool.

"Just like old times?" She smirked.

"Go! Hurry up." Hayley instructed the guys. They hesitated, but finally left.

Rebekah and Hayley dove into the pool and swam away.

"Damn it!" Esther yelled.

Kol, Klaus, and Elijah waited patiently at the compound. Marcel came in, "What happened?"

"Nothing, somehow Esther wasn't able to do anything while the moon was up. It was weird. Definitely magical." Kol explained.

Rebekah and Hayley came through the door, glad the full moon hadn't affected them that night.

"Oh, the ladies of the hour. Care to explain what the hell happened back there?" Kol accused.

"Obviously nothing happened, Kol. She wasn't able to do magic." Rebekah said.

"I know, but what about the pool? It was.. weird." Kol said.

"Kol leave them, they don't seem to have any more knowledge of the situation than we do." Elijah said.

"Thank you Elijah." Rebekah said, shooting Kol a glare.

"I know you're hiding something, I'm going to find out what it is." Kol muttered as Hayley walked by.

She stopped walking and turned around, "No Kol, you won't. Because there's nothing to find."

"Kol, please. Leave them be." Elijah instructed.

"Fine, you're off the hook. For now." Kol frowned.

The girls left.

"You and I both know they're hiding something." Kol said to Elijah.

"I didn't -"

"If you scare them off with your incessant accusations and questions they will not answer." Klaus added.

"So you agree." Kol said.

"There's something going on, but we don't want to jump to conclusions." Marcel interrupted.

"Fine, I'll be careful about it but I need to know." Kol said as he left.

The remaining three shared a look.

"Aw, you kept the locket." Hayley said, picking up the silver locket.

"And you kept yours." Rebekah said, looking at the necklace around Hayley's neck.

"I did. So did Rikki." Hayley smiled. "I wonder how's she's been doing with full moons."

"Yeah. I miss her, even her sarcastic comments." Rebekah smiled back.

"Yeah, me too." Hayley's smile faltered a little.

"That was the first time in a while that I'd had real friends." Rebekah smiled softly.

"We had so many adventures together. I miss Australia too, I wonder if we'll be able to go back someday. Maybe see Rikki and I can introduce you to Bella. God I wish I was just a mermaid again." Hayley said sadly.

"Yeah me too, everything's so complicated now. I want to go back when it was easy. When we had a silly adventure every day. I'd even go through school again. And I would like to see Rikki again, and meet Bella." Rebekah said.

"It was fun while it lasted." Hayley agreed.

"It was."
