Closing the door behind her, Y/N made her way inside their house before she put her bag on the couch nearby and walked to her room.

"Y/N? Where were you? Hana was waiting for you but she fell asleep-" Areum said when she spotted her friend walking upstairs. But Y/N didn't reply and instead kept on walking until she stopped at her room's door.

Slowly opening it, her hands landed on her grandmother and her daughter who were laying on her bed. They were sleeping peacefully and Y/N couldn't help but let the tears fall down her cheeks.

Areum walked to her side as she furrowed her eyebrows. "What? What's wrong?" She asked as she turned Y/N to her, softly wiping her tears.

"Come here." She said as she grabbed Y/N's hand and closed the door, pulling Y/N with her until they arrived at the balcony. "Tell me, did something happen?" She asked and looked right into Y/N's eyes.

"I really don't know where to start... a lot of things happened and I'm so frustrated and lost." Y/N shook her head and sighed heavily.

"You're worrying me..." Areum looked at her with eyes full of worry and Y/N knew she had to tell her everything.

"I'm being stalked..." Y/N said and Areum's eyes widened.

"What!? From when?"

"A week... I guess."

"A week!? Why didn't you tell me anything? What if you got hurt?" Areum bombarded her with questions and Y/N just sighed.

"I didn't want to worry you..." She said and lowered her head, feeling bad that she hid everything from her best friend.

"I can't believe what I'm hearing." Areum closed her eyes and grabbed her forehead. "We're supposed to tell each other everything, Y/N. And I'm supposed to worry about you because I'm your friend and I care about you!" She said a little loud before she sighed.

"I'm sorry..."

"But that doesn't matter now. Do you know who it is?" She looked at her with curious eyes and Y/N slowly shook her head no.

"I thought it was Jay..." She said and Areum stared at her in disbelief. "But it wasn't him. I was wrong."

"How do you know that? I mean after everything he did..." She said and looked at the night sky. Somehow they always found peace at night, but their minds were always filled with chaos.

"Today, I met him... I yelled at him and told him to stop following and stalking me but after that... he went to Junseok and told him that someone was stalking me and asked him to take care of me." Y/N chuckled to herself, remembering what Junseok said.

"Did Junseok know about-"

"He didn't, and I could tell he was a little upset to hear it from Jay instead of me." She smiled sadly and turned to her. "But he said that Jay wouldn't do such a thing... he said he was so heartbroken and sad and I realized how much my words might have affected him."

"He was worried about you?" Areum asked before Y/N nodded slowly.

"So I went to apologize, but..." She stopped talking as she closed her eyes for a while before Areum peeked at her.

"Why are you crying...?" Turning to her, Y/N's eyes were full of tears as she quietly sobbed. Areum pulled her and hugged her tightly, patting her on the back. "It's okay. Everything is going to be okay."

How Areum hugged her made her remember how Jay embraced her tightly and cried on her shoulder.

He confused her. He hurt her so heartlessly five years ago, yet now he keeps saying he's sorry and keeps telling her how he can't lose her.

Who was he really? Which one was the real Jay?

Y/N kept thinking about this as she decided not to tell Areum what happened after because everything seemed like a dream and she herself still couldn't understand anything.

   . . .

"You'll be a good girl and don't make any trouble for mommy, okay?" Y/N said as she smiled at her daughter.

Hana nodded and smiled back at her. "Yes, mommy!" She said and bounced around the room.

"She's so excited to go with you. Is it really okay for her to be there?" Y/N's grandmother asked as she packed Hana's small backpack.

She had an appointment at the hospital and Areum went back to Seoul to meet her parents, so Y/N had to bring her daughter with her to university since no one was going to be home.

"Yes, don't worry. I'll be working at the library so she'll just have to stay by my side." She nodded and smiled softly.

"Don't overwork yourself, sweetheart." Her grandmother placed both her hands on her cheeks and looked at her. "You've been so worn out these past few days, is everything okay?"

"Yes, I'm just busy with work... everything is fine." She faked a smile that her grandmother didn't suspect before she grabbed her daughter's hand as the little girl waved to her grandmother.

"Goodbye, grandma!" She giggled and turned around, holding her mother's hand as they made their way to university.

As soon as they arrived, Hana opened her mouth as she stared at the amazing place. "Mommy it's beautiful!" She stared at the big trees and the red and pink roses with glowing eyes and Y/N couldn't help but chuckle at her.

"Yes, it is." She said before they made their way inside, but just then, someone called her name. Turning around, her heart skipped a beat when their eyes met and she could feel her cheeks heating up.

Jay walked to them before he greeted Y/N and looked at Hana who was smiling shyly. "Hello, little girl." He smiled and gently ruffled her hair.

"Hello, I'm Park Hana!" She said and bowed making Jay chuckle at how cute she was. Although a part of him broke, knowing that it was the child Y/N had with another man.

"Nice to meet you, Hana, I'm Park Jay." He smiled at her before he looked back at Y/N who stared at them with a sad expression. She didn't say anything, just let the two talk to each other without knowing that they were father and daughter.

"Are you my dad?" Hana asked suddenly as she innocently tilted her head to the side, making Jay and Y/N widen their eyes.

"Your dad...?"

Jay asked with furrowed eyebrows before he looked at Y/N, and she knew that she messed up big time.
