A few more travelers have been appearing In town these last few months and I've been horribly busy. I've only seen Niki once in this time and had no time to think about my nightly knight. MY nightly knight. That sounded... Nice. No stop what was I thinking? I gave the book to the buyer and closed up the shop. I decided it was time to see Niki again.

'Heyo!' I greeted
'y/n hey haven't seen you in like forever!'
'Yeah seems so, wanna come over for some tea?' I ask in hopes to get my mind cleared, which was now running around like a steaming train with thoughts about the man in red
'How bout we have some here, I just got green tea from my monthly supplier'
'Anything to clear my mind' I mumble
'What do you mean?' shit she heard me
'A few months ago, THEE red-caped Knight that you saw had come to my shop to buy a book at night. I was closed and I think I may have pissed him off a little I say nearly truthfully whilst putting an emphasis on the 'thee'. In all honesty, I was mainly thinking about his white-eyed mask and his monotone voice. The way he strode across my shop like an elegant executioner. The red Cape that covered his broad shoulders.

'y/n?' I'm snapped out of my trance
'Your tea's gone cold and you haven't answered my question'
'Huh? What?'
She smiles eagerly 'I asked why do you think you pissed him off?'
'Oh! I sorta snatched a book from his grasp and told him to get out of the shop, I tried to be nice but he seemed angry' I say rubbing the back of my neck
'Oh boy I hope nothing bad happens, good luck'
'Thanks, I'll probably get going it seems to be getting late'
'Alright night lovely'
'Night Niki

I leave her shop and stand outside the mine. I look at the sign.
'Library of stories'
My grandfather named it that
He always loved books and so did I so after a generation of it being left alone (neither mother nor father liked books) I decided to inherit it
My nightly night. My nightly night. My nightly night.
What was that? They were like voices. All I could think about was him. I sighed and walked inside. I walk to the counter in the dark and freeze halfway.
'You have good observation' his monotone voice rings in my ears
'Oh god, you scared me sir, here to get another book?' I say trying to play it off cool, my voice doesn't fail me.
'Yes perhaps two'
'Alright ill be down in a second I say running upstairs
I slap my cheeks. Control yourself, he's here for a book, nothing more, he doesn't know you, you don't know him.
I walk downstairs and stand in front of the desk, he approaches me a few seconds later.
' I'll take these two' he says putting a romance and A gore book on the desk
'Great choices I'll put those in a bag for you' I grab a bag from under the desk.
Does he read romance?! I scream in my head.
I reappear 'that'll be for free sir' I smile at him. After all, he gave me 5 silver coins the other time, that'll be more than enough for at least 50 books! He smiles at me. He. Smiles. At. Me. It takes me a second to process it. His smile is so soft. I was bewildered. I felt the heat rush up to my face and I smile back as he turns away and walks off. I sigh and then he stops just at the door. 'Technoblade' he says.
'pardon?' I ask
'Technoblade, that's what you can call me, my good acquaintances call me Techno for short but I don't think we're on those terms yet. We may be though soon, I'll be coming here ever so often. Also, give those flowers some mint, it helps them live' he suggests while leaving.

Technoblade.

679 words! I absolutely love how this chapter came out, I was honestly feeling meh about it in the beginning.

Technoblade, who is he except a hottie? Why didn't Niki want to have tea in your shop? What does he mean he'll be coming here ever so often?
