There was no way. Techno couldn't be a prince could he? It made sense though. He had the crown, the cloak, the connection, even the brothers for gods sake! Had he simply been tricking me all this time or was he unaware I didn't know? No, if I knew Techno, he wasn't that dumb to not notice something so big.

The thoughts swirled through my head as i absentmindedly sewed the sleeves onto my outfit. The bell rang downstairs as Eret's voice called me down.
'Hey! Brought the last batch' Eret said as placed down a medium box.
'Hey Eret, quick question, have you ever been to the palace?' i asked trying to not give anything away
'Oh no, my status isn't high enough for that' he chuckled a little sadly.
'Well would you like to go? With me I mean, you must've been wondering why I've needed all these materials' I said smiling at his wide eyes
'Wait seriously? You're going to the Palace?' He questioned excited
'Yep and you're coming with me! Do you have a suit or dress you're going to wear?'
'oh believe me I do' he said running off to his shop.
Well that sorts out the extra ticket but the only person I could talk to has run away. And almost right on queue, the bell rang again.
'Not closed yet are we?' he asked entering
'Nope, not for another half an hour, feel free to browse' I said taking a seat behind my desk, replacing the mint in my flowers. I kept looking over at Techno and caught him staring back at me once or twice too. It was comfortably quite whilst he browsed the romance section and I read my romance. I know I don't read a lot of romance but this one was one of the books Techno had chosen that I had multiple of so I thought I might see what kind of books he likes. This book was actually way better than any other romance books I had read before.

The protagonist wasn't meant to be in the timeline they were. They ran away from the time keeper and fell in love with a village adventurer. They were captured by the time keeper and taken away from their beloved to the white room. After many years, the time keeper and the protagonist became like family and after much convincing, the protagonist was able to go back to the timeline. But time was much faster in the timeline than the white room so when they came back, the adventurer was old. He sat on his bed looking out the window and turned his head towards the whooshing sound.
'Sweetie?'
' I'm home darling' the protagonist said tearing up.

Before I knew it, the not so well known feeling of tears ran up my throat and head. I held back my tears as to not embarrass myself in front of the Prince.
The Prince! I looked up to see him walking over with another book and a white rose.
'Uh, just this one today' he said looking away as he placed down the book and put the rose in my flower vase. A smile perched on my face.
'Alright I'll put that in a bag and thank you' I said grabbing a bag from under the desk.
'Uh, this is awkward, would you care for some tea with me sometime' he asked his ears pointing up a little in wait of my answer.
'I'd love to sir Knight' I said as I looked down to hide my heating face.
'Alright, I'll uh see you at the castle tomorrow and we can discuss then' he said rushing out of the door.
I squealed a bit after he left, impatient to tell someone. I ran upstairs and brought out my homemade journal from some left over leather and paper. Last time I had written in here was when Technoblade first visited. I wrote about everything. My feelings, my wishes, my dreams, the books, him. I wrote all about him today. The butterflies that I felt when our hands brush when I give him his bag. The constant heat in my cheeks when he does anything to show he's paying attention to me. The glances at me over his shoulder whilst he thinks I'm reading. I closed my journal and placed it in my hidden chest behind the door.
I headed downstairs and closed up for the day. Walking over the the white rose, I had noticed it was not the off white colour it used to be when he gave me it. It was now a deep blue that looked like the sky before dark but after the stars came out. I smiled at the flower as I took a sniff and went upstairs. I fell back onto my bed and kept replaying the words in my head.
'would you care for some tea with me sometime?'
He sounded so nervous, like he was unsure of how I would answer. It was a new side to him, a softer side. He's usually so tense, ready for and ambush whenever, wherever. I stared at my ceiling for a few hours until I woke up. I guess I hadn't noticed myself falling asleep.
