The day Nezuko was turned into a demon. You were walking up the mountain to see her, not knowing what had happened and ended up seeing Giyu about to hurt her. You managed to catch him off guard enough that Tanjiro could get Nezuko away.

"What is it Giyu? Are you cold?" you asked, taking your hands away to press them to his cheeks. He caught your hands in his before they can reach his face and stared down at you.
