You literally had to take your ore TO Haganezuka yourself because you didn't want a sword but wanted an axe.
Let's just say it was strenuous for the both of you. You had to walk for miles on end with a big old lump of metal and he hadn't ever made a nichirin battle axe. He didn't know why you just wouldn't take a simple sword but he was impressed with your devotion nonetheless.
