Parent Headcanons pt1

(Like always the characters are aged up!)

Tanjirou Kamado

❂ He is an amazing father and you can't tell me otherwise

❂ He'd definitely want more than three children- if you're comfortable with that

❂ Absolutely trusts aunty Nezuko with his whole being! For good reason and she loves them too!

❂ Totally willing to risk his life for their kids (This should be a given)

❂ The first time he holds his child, he bursts into tears.

❂ He wants to train them to make sure he never has to worry about their safety if he isn't there.

❂ I feel like one of his kids would inherit his mark but they'd look more like you.

❂ He just wants a normal life, like before the demons- so he ideally would want to raise his children in the mountains like he was.

Zenitsu Agatsuma

ϟ Maybe one or two children

ϟ He isn't very confident in his abilities so he thinks he's kind of a bad father.

ϟ Don't be fooled though- a coward he may be, he won't hesitate to protect his children. He'll force himself to stay conscious and he'd definitely almost kill himself protecting them.

ϟ I feel that because his breathing technique is lightning and yours is metal, they'd be the only holders of the breathing form, lightning rod (If you're curious, I'll be putting the explanations at the bottom with an *asterisk*)

ϟ He leaves the training more to you but that doesn't mean he won't help with other things.

ϟ Can braid hair.

 🐗 He is a little... less thoughtful with his parenting

 🐗 Of course he loves them, but because of his own upbringing he isn't really sure how else to do it

 🐗 The way he teaches them how to swim would be by just throwing them into the water and wait. He would of course save them if they can't- he's feral, not cruel.

 🐗 I don't think he'd really care about how many children he has- as long as it's with you, it's fine with him.

 🐗 He would definitely sit there in a dress for his kids' tea parties and you cannot change my mind.

 🐗 I can imagine I'm trying to read them a book but because he can't really read, he just ends up making the story up from the pictures.

 🐗 He really wouldn't care about education because he never went to school, but if you make a  big deal about them skipping school, then he will back you up even if he let them stay off. He just knows that it would make you even more annoyed.

Genya Shinazugawa

 🔫 He's a little scared but he really does try his best

 🔫 Definitely sleeps beside the cot for a couple weeks just incase they wake up during the night.

🔫 He is extremely gentle

🔫He's promised that he wont ever be like his father because he knows what the daddy issues feel like.

🔫Once again another father who would be willing to sitting in a dress for a tea party.

🔫 You guys might only have one kid because he's afraid that they might hate him.

Giyu Tomioka

☂ One of the only things that will make him even begin to let his guard down is your children. He is so grateful for them and for you.

☂ He knows that if it came down to it, he would die for them without even thinking about it.

☂ He would want to name one in memory of Sabito, because of course.

☂ He'd like maybe 2 or 3 kids

☂ He doesn't show it towards others but having a family makes him feel alive and the happiest he's felt since before Sabito passed

*Lightning Rod

An extended form of breathing, exclusive to those who hold the potential of lightning and metal breathing. 

The user draws heavy clouds and absorbs lightning from the sky, rendering the user untouchable for fear of electrocution until it is expelled. When expelled, electric current stuns and burns anyone within a 20-metre radius. 

While not able to kill solely by itself, it gives its user an extra edge in battle by coating their blade in pure lightning.
