First of all, he's making sure you aren't severely wounded. If you're ok to be left with someone, then he's going to decapitate them. He's never been so sure of a kill.

Sweet Jesus, someone is going to die today. He gets extremely infuriated, to the point where it's close to a rampage.
He doesn't really care if he gets hurt during it, he just wants to make sure you're ok after.

He seems very calm, and to be honest, the demon would need to be very strong to even land a hit without Giyuu managing to pull you away before.
In a split second, that demon is cut into chunks from his scalding hot water slashes.

He would be more concerned with making sure you're ok rather than slaying the demon. He's wrapping you in his cape, promising you he'll come back in a moment, then he'll slice the demon into rivets.
"I promise that I won't let them get away with laying a hand on you"

Haha. That's cute that the demon thinks it's a good idea to target you. It's so funny that he laughs at them before he cuts their head off with the blunt end of his blade.
He's not just going to kill them; he's going to make sure they hurt like hell.
"I'm gonna kill you twice, you bastard"
Muichiro Tokito
He is more likely to come to your aid than he is to jump right into battle. He knows that the other pillars can handle it while he keeps you safe while you're down.
"Dont worry, I'll protect you."
Shinobu Kocho
She'll clean you up, get you on your feet. Then you'll kill it together. She knows that an injury can't keep you down for long.
"Teamwork, babe"
Mitsuri Kanroji
She immediately shields you with her body if you're about to get hit again. She doesn't care. If one of you go down, you go down together.
"Dont hurt her, you monster!"
Obanai Iguro
He will kill that demon even if it's the last thing her does. If he dies, he'll die happy that he saved you. All aside, he'll be absolutely brutal in the battle.
"You can kill me but you're dying with me"
Demons
Muzan Kibutsuji
Do you think any demon would dare?
Any demon that doesn't know you, that gets close enough to even touch you will smell Muzan on you. All they can do is plead for mercy while their own creator destroys them from the inside.
"Anyone who even dares to think of hurting her will be slaughtered, am I clear."
Yushiro
He's furious. He already hates most demons and this only consolidates that. He's ready to jump on them and tear their head clean off.
"Dont even touch her with your dirty hands!"
Nezuko Kamado
She and Tanjirou are ganging up on them. She probably won't even let a demon close enough to hurt you. She gets very angry, to the point where she could claw their faces off with her nails.
She just growls but you can tell she is threatening them.
Upper Moons
Kokushibou
No one would dare. Kokushibou will, like Muzan, make you have something that shows who you are and who you know.
If he does learn that someone has hurt you, they won't be around for long at all.
"Shooting star came home with a scratch. You wouldn't happen to know where that came from would you? "
Douma
He might actually be the worst of them all. He's always been protective and scared of you getting hurt or dying on him, so when he hears that a demon has the nerve to touch you, let alone HURT YOU, he goes feral.
Heads are flying, he's tearing them apart over and over again until they cant regenerate anymore. The he'll humiliate them by making them watch their body burn in the sunlight before finally throwing their head out of the shadows.
Then he'll smile at you like nothing happened.
"Oh, there you are. I was wondering where you went off to. You missed my punishment."
Akaza
He and Douma will make their life a living hell before finally ending it. He gets pretty clingy after too, because he feels bad for letting it happen.
He'll practically do everything for you (as if he didn't before) and still ask if you need help with anything. He might treat you as if you're dying.
"I'm sorry, i should have looked after you. If i was a better partner, you would be ok"
