(This was heavily requested by a lot of people after one of my previous preferences mentioned making it into a whole chapter. Once again, I'm still not resuming the book, but I am taking a few requests that seem fun :3 )

Let's Play Wedding

The Kamado siblings had no clue what to do or where you'd gone. One minute you were here and the next; gone. Honestly, it was the worst thing Tanjirou could think of. You, alone in a huge forest of spiders and demons, scared and alone, screaming his name only for him to be so far away he cant hear it.

He didn't know how it happened, really. He'd seen you, talked to you less than 3 minutes before and you were now nowhere in sight.

~~~
Everything felt strange on your end. The child you had seen in the brush had now taken your hand and pulled you away from your friends. For some reason, you hadn't actually told anyone about it. You didn't think you'd have to.
Evidently, you were wrong.
Maybe if you were lucky, they'd be sent an invitation though. You shook your head, 'This isn't exactly a time for jokes, (Y/N)'
When you found yourself thrown into the silk gown, everything seemed perfectly innocent.
~~~

"Oh, did you want to play dress-up, Rui?" you asked, tugging nervously on the hem of your new outfit.

He just tilted his head, looking at you. You coughed, wanting to dismiss the awkward feeling the child was giving you.

"Why don't we go and look around for everyone else, that way we can get you back to your parents soon. They must be worried sick." When you turned to start walking, he grabbed your wrist, growling.

He was so small but so strong that you couldn't tear his hand from you, let alone drag him into walking.

"You can't leave. We haven't finished playing yet!"

Thin white strings began to wrap around your arm, connecting you more thoroughly to the boy. He pulled you downwards to look into his eyes.

"I want to play wedding," the strings began to constrict around your arm, pulsating and causing blood to seep through.

You let out a pained yelp, much louder than you meant to before the demon wrapped the other hand over your mouth.

Despite being so small, dragging you away proved to be an easy feat for him. You clawed desperately against his snowy skin, struggling futilely.

~~~
It was quiet and short, but the siblings were sure they had heard it. Nezuko looked from side to side, adamant that she would find where her best friend had gone. She desperately tugged on her brother's arm, dragging him violently in the direction she was sure the noise had come from.
The two made haste, moving faster than they ever had. Thanks to Tanjirou's advanced sense of smell, it was just a game of hot or cold.
Thankfully, it seemed that they were going in the right direction. But it seemed like you weren't alone, and it certainly wasn't Zenitsu or Inosuke who was with you.
He picked up the pace, pushing human limits just to get to you. Thin whips of bush slashed at his face from his neglecting to push the branches away.
The run seemed so long but in reality, it had ended in under a minute. However, what he was met with was something that chilled him completely.
He found you, bleeding from both arms and suspended from a tree. You weakly thrashed against the tangled web, doing nothing but digging the strings in deeper and staining your white garment a deflowering red colour. The demon boy beside you took no notice of him, holding your bleeding hand in his own.
Tanjirou stopped in his tracks, screaming in your direction out of shock. His blade shook in his fist, clinking against the ground in futility.
"(Y/N)! Don't worry, I'll save you!"
The demon turned to him with a scowl imprinted on his face. A temper tantrum imminent, it seemed. His hand latched on tighter to yours, almost crunching the bones under the immense force.
"NO! She's mine!" he growled, flinging a row of web at the siblings as they approached you. "I WON'T LET YOU RUIN OUR PERFECT FAMILY!"
It was then that Tanjirou realised that you weren't wearing your original clothes. He took in your appearance then, eyebrows furrowing in confusion.
A long white dress, with a veil. With all the talk about family, it wasn't hard for him to understand what the boy was talking about. Nezuko growled back at him, furiously slashing at the air before her, fiercely protective of her endangered friend.
"Rui, please let me go. I understand that you're lonely, i was lonely too-" you were cut off by the demon, hand gripping a lock of your hair to gain your full attention.
"We won't be lonely together, my bride," his gentle stroking of your hair contrasted the brutish lacerating of your skin. You sobbed audibly at the pain, heaving gasps at the feeling of the constricting dress and circumstance.
Tanjirou felt his heart break at the broken cries that erupted from your feeble chest. He moved into a striking stance before staring hard at the boy.
"Marriage is a sacred act between people who love each other. Not for someone who wants to build a family based on fear. I've known (Y/N) since we were young; I know she's worthy of more than being the wife of some monster who doesn't love her! And if you do love her then you should let her go- let her be happy! I would never force her into ANYTHING she didn't want because I know how special she is. I've loved her for years and I'll continue to love her until I die and even if she doesn't love me, that's ok because all I want is for her to be happy! "
The slayer yelled at the top of his lungs before readying his sword at the enraged demon. He felt invigorated after professing his three-year-long love for you. A brutal fight ensued when the demon-boy screeched, pitching a fit at the attention you gave to the Kamado boy.
~~~

"Tuh-Tanjirou... You love me?" you asked softly, smiling down at the boy as he attempted to cut you down from the strings. The demon was slain, with the help of the water hashira, Tomioka. Said man had already snuck away with Nezuko, probably sensing that you both needed privacy and that trouble was soon to follow with the corp in the event of a demon accompanying a slayer.

He smiled up at you unsurely, "I've loved you since I was twelve." His face flushed pink.

You felt the constricting webbing uncoil from your flesh before you slipped down. You almost believed you were going to hit the floor before Tanjirou caught you. He now looked down at you.

"I love you too, Tanjirou"
