Going Into Labour

Tanjirou Kamado

He's probably one of the calmest in this subgroup. He isn't super calm but he isn't screaming either. You'd probably realise when your water breaks. Like he'd realise and then go,

"Oh."

He knows it's better to stay under control than to stress you out. If he's honest, Nezuko is freaking out more than anyone.

He'd try and get you to Shinobu as quickly as possible, and there's no way, he's leaving your side. He'll be in there all 13 hours of labour.

Zenitsu Agatsuma

He faints momentarily. Not for long just like 30 seconds. But let's be honest, you're independent and you drag him with you to the butterfly estate because it's not far enough that you can't walk just yet.

If by chance you find you can't walk, he will get a huge adrenalin boost, and full-on swoop you up, running with you, screaming like a tornado siren.

Inosuke Hashibira

He has absolutely no idea what he's supposed to do. He's only witnessed animal birth and due to that, he's realised that a lot of mothers will die after giving birth.

By the time you're actually beginning the ordeal, he's got your hand in a tight grip, almost begging you to stay with him. If you ask him he will deny it wholeheartedly.

After the first time, he puts a lot more faith in medicine and care.

Genya Shinazugawa

Super, super panicky. Like he's hyperventilating in a paper bag during the whole thing because he's worried something might go wrong. You're probably holding it together more than he is.

Now that isn't to say he doesn't help. He does. He's read up, train for this moment. He knows exactly what position you need to be in for a potential home birth because he just cannot carry you and a fleshy thing inside of you the size of a watermelon, like a Russian nesting doll.

He's making the medics come to you. That's final, he just doesn't want to risk it being caught during transit. You will have no children born on the street ok.

Giyuu Tomioka

Surprisingly calm. On the outside. He knows he needs to act calmly to not scare you. He recites those breathing exercises to you but to be honest, it's more for himself.

Probably another to have the medics come to you. It isn't like he cant carry you, he just doesn't want to. He's got a fear of tripping and cracking you open like an egg. Morbid imagery.

Kyoujouro Rengoku

He's carrying you. Even if you can walk, he's carrying you there. He's not risking any of that shit, you could fall and hurt yourself and your baby. He ain't waiting to see that.

I fully believe that when he gets kicked out of the room, he'll play Uno with Senjouro.

Sanemi Shinazugawa

In modern times, you'd probably go into labour at the Mcdonalds drive-thru. I swear. And he'd still wait to get his chicken McNuggets before taking you to the hospital. In all fairness, he knows that contraction can start a while before actually needing hospital.
