Hope for the best

Deidaras POV
"I can't believe you bought a dog you have to get rid of it." My mother says petting olivers head. "Yeah you can't keep him here." my grandfather says giving oliver a piece of bacon from his sandwich, oliver happily takes it and lays down by my feet eating the bacon.

I lay my head down on my desk closing my eyes and listening my mother and grandfather baby talk to oliver. "Deidara team taka is at it-" I look up and see shikamaru standing in front of my desk with my father next to him. I'm guessing the sight of oliver had cut him off.

"You got a dog?" He asks as my father walks away sneezing and rubbing his eyes. My mom waves to oliver before walking off to my father. "Yep his name is oliver." I tell him locking eyes with my father who's across the room with my mother handing him some type of medicine.

"What a drag, anyway team taka is at it again and apparently they are working with the akatsuki." He roles his eyes before continuing "probably a bluff but they are saying they have a bomb so you neji, kiba, and yugito are going to check it out." I nod and get up walking over to kakashis desk "can you watch him I don't think he's ready to go out yet?"

He looks up at me with a sparkle in his eyes "yes of course I will!" He picks up oliver and grabs a bag of treats that he has in his desk for some reason. "Ready to go." Kiba asks walking over to me I nod and hold out out my hand waiting for him to hand me the keys.

Right before I'm able to grab them someone snatches them out of kibas hand. "No way I don't want to die this soon." I look to whoever stole the keys and of course it's neji with yugito right behind him. "I'm older so give me the keys." I reach out and try to grab the keys but fail.

I role my eyes and run outside to the car "SHOTGUN!" I yell getting in the car and closing the door before I can hear anyone protest. "Hey kiba you should bring akamaru so he and oliver can hand out." I say looking behind me as the rest get in. "Yeah right ever since your dad has become boss akamaru hasn't been back" kiba says with a chuckle.

"Right we have to pick up the mutt." yugito says with a sigh making me smile, I can already imagine the look on kibas face. "HE IS NOT A MUTT NOW SHUT IT BEFORE I MAKE YOU!" Kiba yells at yugito before punching her shoulder making everyone including kiba laugh.

Obtios POV
"Okay just to be clear you can hurt anyone just not the blonde." I can already tell this won't go as planned. "Okay so do you guys know the plan?" I ask suigetsu and jugo one last time knowing they aren't the smartest. suigetsu looks confused and looks to jugo. No wonder why they are the only remaining members.

"Okay you guys will shoot a round into the sky and threaten people with the bomb that I set up in one of these buildings then leave the rest to me and do not hurt the blonde named deidara or I will end you." I tell them before walking behind one of the buildings.

I already know someone wrong will probably happen but as long as I get my hands on deidara it will be perfect. This plan can't and will not fail, I just hope those two idiots don't mess this up. I have one chance to grab deidara before anyone notices me or sees that deidara is missing.

I peek around the corner and see a black car pull up with tinted windows. I just have to hope deidara is in the car. The back door opens first letting a girl and a guy out also a huge white dog with brown on his ears. The passenger side door opens and my deidara walks out making my heart skip a beat.

Another guy walks out but I couldn't care less about him. "Akamaru kiba go look for the bomb." Deidara orders before walking closer to suigetsu and jugo. "Who is deidara?" suigetsu asks making me regret asking for their help. That is until I notice that the girl next to him also has a shade of blonde hair.

"I am." The girl says out of nowhere making my eyes widened. Crap this won't end well. I watch in horror as jugo shoots deidara right in the stomach knocking him to the ground, I can also tell nobody expected that by the gasps. "DEI!" The guy with brown long hair and the girl both yell but only the long haired boy runs over to him.

The girl is to busy disarming jugo and kicking suigetsu ass. I want to run out their and grab deidara taking him to safety but I don't know anyone with the proper medical skills to keep him alive. I sigh and run back to the warehouse walking straight to the cot I sleep on and face planting on it. "Well I see you weren't successful." Kakuzu says with a chuckle "but I can help."

I look at him nodding for him to continue. "Well I went out for a walk and you'll never guess who I found!" He runs over to the next room and pushes a chair with someone on it in the room. I look at the person tied to the chair and it's the cop that deidara was best friends with.

"Now hidan is all mine." He pats the unconscious body on the head before grinning like a mad man. "You can keep him until he wakes up then you have to give him back." Rose says as she enters the room sitting on my bed. "I'm sorry you didn't get him but maybe next time I'll help." She says patting my back a few times.

"So how bad was it?" Kisame asks walking in the room completely ignoring the tied up cop in the middle of the room. "He got shot." I whisper resting my head on roses shoulder. "Ha knew something like that would happen anyway what's with this?" kisame asks about to kick the chair that hidan was tied to.

until kakuzu pulled a knife from his pocket and held it up to kisames neck. "Back away from him." Kakuzu demands slowly moving the knife away and pushing kisame away. Kisame just scoffed before leaving. "I'll go to the hospital and check to see if he's okay I'll also take him with me." rose says pointing to hidan.

"How will you do that?" I ask grabbing kakuzus knife and cutting the rope around his wrist and legs. "I have my ways just hope for the best." She tells me as pain walks in and picks up hidan before they both walk away. "Right hope for the best." I remind myself before laying down and closing my eyes.
