Cold eyes

Deidaras POV
"I don't care how but get it done!" I yell at the newest police officer who hasn't gotten me my paperwork yet. It's not his fault he really doesn't know his way around but I've been really on edge. I'm one of the fbis best bomb specialist and there has been a lot of explosions going on around on the east side of town.

"OW what was that for!" I look behind me rubbing my head to see one of my best friends "Sasori why'd ya hit me?" I ask him grabbing the coffee he hands me. "Because you don't have to yell at the new guy even if you are stressed." He roles his eyes and sits next to me looking into a file about a group called the akatsuki.

The group consist of 5 dangerous people. I only know them by their code names and by code names I mean the names hidan came up with. He calls one guy 'grand' because he was always robbing banks and taking money, he also calls one of the 'pain' because he leaves no witness no matter what and mostly because everyone he comes into contact with dies a morbid death.

He calls what we assume is the leader of the group 'tobi' he never told me why he started calling him that he says it just came to him one day. I personally came up with one of the names and I gave it to the guy who robbed a plant store just to piss me and the others off. I call him 'Venus' because he stole a bunch of Venus fly traps.

But there was something strange about the 5th member hidan and sasori call her 'rose' but I feel like 'Origami' would be a better name because there is also little paper folded into many shapes but mostly roses at every crime scene.

"Hey did you guys hear the news?" Hidan asks us while he stuffs some random food into his mouth. "You didn't even know about it until we told you." itachi tells him walking in the room with konan by his side. "Because the squad has been doing great lately chief gave us the day off tomorrow!" Hidan says with a huge smile.

"First off we aren't a squad." Itachi states grabbing some of hidans food. "Deidara is a bomb specialist, me and sasori are detectives, and konan is a victim advocate." I can't help but laugh at hidans face "Hey you can't forget about me I've got the best job!"

"hidan you are a Forensic scientist therefore we aren't a squad we just get the same case most of the time." Itachi says crossing his arms making hidan huff. "Enough boys." I look over to konan who has a file with a bunch of papers inside in her hand.

Oh god that file better not be for me it's almost time for me to go home and take a nap before I have to work again. "Deidara I know you've been on the clock for a while but chief said it's important." She says with sympathy In her eyes.

I'm starting to not like this new chief just because he's Fugakus youngest son and Itachis younger brother doesn't mean I can't hate him. "Itachi why did you have to turn the job down." I say laying my head on the desk Itachi had the chance to be chief but he turned the offer down for some reason.

"Naruto how are you holding up?" I ask the blonde as he walks into the room with eye bags visible from a mile away. He had gotten a cold case from a few years ago and he's trying so hard to figure it out. "Ehhh I just need some coffee for right now." He stumbles over to the coffee pot pouring some in a cup.

I sigh knowing I'll regret this later on but the kid needs a break he's only 20. I'll admit I am a the same age as him but the case he's been working on his hard and he needs a break. "Naruto go take a nap I'll cover this case only for a few hours tho." I tell him seeing his frown turn into a small smile.

"Really you'd do that for me!" He hugs me taking all the air out of my lungs. I nod watching him smile and walk out the room probably going the lay on the couch In the chiefs room. It's obvious that they are seeing each other but they always deny it.

"Good luck." I can hear hidan tell me before I flip him off and walk out the room to narutos desk. "Me and Itachi are going out to a scene down at a gas station. I'll pick you up some food." Sasori tells me grabbing his jacket and keys. To be honest all I really heard was gas and food but before I can say anything I look up and he's gone.

I look back down at all the papers unorganized on narutos desk. I pick one of them up with all the information about the case on it, of course it's a missing person. I think this might be one of the cases that can't be solved not to mention she went missing 5 years ago meaning the chances of her being alive are slim.

"Deidara." Oh what now. I turn around to see the one and only chief sasuke "what's up chief?" I ask him hoping he will tell me to go home or something like that. "Sasori and Itachi have run into the akatsuki." He tells me making shoot out of my seat and grab my keys "gas station about 40 minutes from here." He says sitting at narutos desk probably helping him with the case.

I nod and run out to my car only to see hidan leaning against it. "Come on let's go I'm driving." I sigh and toss him the keys getting in the car I'll never admit it but hidan is a way better driver. We get there pretty fast not to mention that he did a 80 in a 55.

I step out the car and run over to Itachi and Sasori "when we asked for backup we didn't mean you. Now get down!" Itachi yells from behind the counter. Apparently two of the members called as grand and tobi are here shooting at us.

"Sasori shoulder got grazed but other than that everyone is fine." Itachi whispers handing me a gun making me realize I left mine at narutos desk. "I'm going to advance." I tell him jumping over the counter seeing his eyes widened. From what I know there are two very dangerous people hiding somewhere in the isles.

I walk up to the bathroom slowly opening the door hoping at least one of them is in the bathroom so I can finally arrest them. Once I get the door open I feel a hand over placed over my mouth and a body against mine pushing me in the bathroom. The gun get knocked out of my hand and slides all the way across the room.

I try and get out of whoever's grip but fail miserably. "Don't move and you won't get hurt." The voice tells me but no way am I going to die in a bathroom. I bite the persons hand and run over to my gun grabbing it and pointing it at them. I look at the mask on their face and let out a deep breath.

Well crap I'm screwed. I'm locked in a bathroom with tobi besides pain he probably the most dangerous person ever. I look at the eye that is showing due to the mask having only one eye hole and his eye is beautiful. It's like a black hole with the entire galaxy getting sucked into it.

I guess I got to distracted because before I know it he's running out the bathroom door and running outside with grand. "YOU IDIOT!" Hidan yells at me as Itachi smacks my head "are you stupid? wait don't answer that I already know." Sasori says walking into the bathroom with his shoulder wrapped in bandages.
