Never would have anyone thought someone like me would join the survey corps. People always think that I'm just some refugee girl that has parents that treat badly and to be honest, some of that is true, but only a few of the things people think about me are true.

What do I mean exactly?
What I mean is that...

I'm black...
And a female alpha...

A black female alpha is probably one of the most rarest things you will ever encounter. It has been said that black female alphas are one of the strongest kinds of alphas. It's hard for me to even go outside because I have to wear a cloak, gloves, and a mask just to cover my skin. If the wrong people were to find out that I'm a female, black alpha, bad things can happen...

So, that's why I'm here now. To join the surgery corps and hopefully be safe where no one here will judge me for who I am and I can live in peace. But since this is the survey corps and they have people who can take me away to places I don't want to go, I think I'll just keep the secret safe until I find people I can really see it trust.

  Last time I told people that I trusted about how I really am, I almost got taken away because they pretended to be my friends just so they can get me to trust them and so they can take me away.

  That will never happen again.
And I'll make sure of it.

  The only reason I'm going to try again is because of how high the standards are which means they know what's best to do.

  Especially with Captain Levi and Commander Erwin there.

  "So uh...(Y/N) right?"
