Kate, Simon, Josh, and I walked down the hall to the vending machine while Nurse Beddy took Deena to confront Sam.

"Si-money cash me." Kate said extending her hand towards Simon

"Don't look at me dude I-I'm broke." Simon stated as he pulled his pocket inside-out

"Y/N?" Kate turned to me

"I didn't bring my wallet." I said putting my hands up 

"You got any change?" Kate asked Josh

"Oh, um..let me check.." Josh replied as he frantically searched his pockets "Uh.. uh, no. Uh, but I-" He stopped and walked over to the machine typing in a series of numbers. After he finished he leaned back beside the machine as all of the candy began slowly pouring out.

"What do you want?" He asked in a confident way with his arms crossed in front of him.

Simon rushed over and grabbed a pack of Junior Mints. Before I grabbed anything I turned and whispered to Josh,

"Nice dude." I whispered with a little nudge and he gave me a smile before I grabbed a Crunch bar. I also got Simon to give me a few of his Junior Mints.

"There's like 10 other packs of these why do you need to take mine?" He whined

"Because I asked nicely and I don't want a whole pack.." I said sweetly, he sighed and gave me a few.

"Where'd you learn how to do this?" Kate asked Josh

"Oh, a lot of people trade hacks online-" He began to say. 

"Nerd." Simon said under his breath hiding it with a cough

"Simon." I said turning to him, he just looked at me and popped a few chocolates in his mouth.

"I think it's really cool, I mean we would've been left on an empty stomach without it." I said turning back to Josh.

He gave me a slight smile of thanks and said "So, um.. when'd you get into the fruit business?" He said jokingly

"What?" Kate replied

"The uhh drugs." He said clarifying

"Oh, that's just temporary. Saving up to get out of here." She said

"Take me with you..." He replied looking at Kate

Simon whistled as he imitated a bomb dropping with his hand. Ironically as soon as the "bomb" dropped the four of us were startled by girls screaming. Deena and Sam sprinted by us,

"RUN!" Deena yelled as she dashed by us.

"Did they get back together?" Simon asked just before a person in a skeleton costume ran from around the corner.

Kate screamed as they passed her. Simon grabbed my hand and the four of us ran towards the front of the hospital. As we reached the front we paused, I looked over and Simon was frantically patting his pockets.

"Where are the keys? Do you have the keys?" He asked Josh with a rushed tone

"No!" He replied

"Where.. where are the keys?" He asked to no one specifically as he grabbed my arm

"Come on. The ambulance." Kate said as she ran outside.

The three of us followed her out to the parking lot, we ran to the closest ambulance and Kate found the keys then started it. She pulled the ambulance around to the front. Simon and I opened the back as we spotted Deena and Sam. 

"Come on!" Simon yelled 

I looked around the ambulance door and saw the person holding Sam in a choke hold on the floor. She bit the person and started to run out.
