Kate grabbed a basket and started throwing things in. She grabbed nail polish remover, hair spray, and she had borrowed Deena's lighter.

"You think we'll make it out of this?" I asked her in a quiet tone 

"I don't know, but we're gonna die one way or another, so might as well die fighting right?" She said 

"Yeah, I guess you-" I paused when we heard metal clanking some where a bit behind us. "They're here." I whispered to Kate

"Watch my back, I'll watch the front." She whispered back 

"Roger that." I responded

After about a minute I heard footsteps going in the direction of Sam and Deena.

"Kate." I said

"Yeah?"

"Get that hairspray out. We need to go check on Sam and Deena."

We quickly walked around the aisles and as we saw them Deena screamed because Skull Mask had found them.

"Go! Go! Go!" Kate yelled as she used the lighter and hairspray to make a makeshift flamethrower and began burning Skull Mask. 

I stood back as Skull Mask began trying to put himself out. Kate pulled me and we hid behind a counter. As we sat behind the counter Kate looked through some glass and saw him behind us looking around. I grabbed her hand as our breathing started to grow heavier. A few seconds go by and suddenly Skull Mask pulls Kate up by her hair. He tries to stab her but she uses a metal cupcake pan to block his knife. He then throws her to the ground and she hits the breadcutter that was in front of us turning it on. He jumps over the counter as I move and he goes for Kate. He grabs her again but I pull him off. As soon as I do I hear loud booming running from the side of us. I get a glimps of Nightwing headed towards the back of the store where everyone else is.

"Go!" Kate yells as she hits Skull Mask with another pan. "I can hold him off, go make sure Nightwing doesn't get to Sam." I wasn't thinking clearly. I watched as Kate hit Skull Mask again and as he stumbled towards me I ran to find the others. As I got closer to the back I heard Kate start screaming

"No! No!" Her scream was blood curdling and immediately I turned around about to run back, but as I do I run right into Josh. A second later and Simon runs out

"GO, SHE'S RIGHT BEHIND ME!" He yells referring to Ruby Lane I'm assuming.

The three of us sprint as fast as we can down the aisles back to where I was with Kate. Her screaming stopped and I hope that was a good thing. I'm running as fast as I possibly can trying to get back to her. The three of us stop dead in our tracks as we come across our worst fear. Kate had been killed. Skull Mask had put her head through the bread cutter. It was a horrific sight. I couldn't keep looking knowing that this is was partially my fault, maybe even all my fault. I looked away and just as I did I saw Nightwing sprinting down the aisle axe overhead going straight towards Simon.

"FUCK, SIMON BEHIND YOU!" I screamed as I pulled his arm as hard as I could to move him out of the way. The axe just barely missed his head and instead gave him a deep cut down his arm.

"SHIT." Simon screamed and the three of us took off running as fast as our legs could carry us. 

Skull Mask made another appearance as he ran behind Josh. Nightwing hadn't given up either and he ran close behind Simon and I. We turned a corner and saw Deena and Sam. Sam had her head in a lobster tank without the lobster. We were waiting for Sam to drown. Simon and I run up to the tank.

"Where are Kate and Josh?" Deena askes while holding Sam under the water

"Kate- wait." I said as I turned around. Josh was neck and neck with us, where is he? I turned and saw Josh trip up the aisle and Skull Mask gaining on him. Nightwing was running at us and Ruby came out of the back singing with her razor in hand. Simon and I tried to run and help Josh but in the blink of an eye, Skull Mask was gone. The store went quiet as Nightwings footsteps stopped and Ruby stopped singing. They were nowhere to be found.
