"She's turning Shadysiders into killers." Josh explained

"Do you really believe that?" Kate asked him "I mean no one actually thinks that this witch shit is real."

"Yeah, it's just something babysitters make up to scare kids." Simon added

"I hate to be the one to believe in witch shit but what other explanation do we have for everything that's happened tonight?" I said

"Just listen to me. 1666, Sarah Fier was hanged for witchcraft, fact." Josh began "But ever since she was executed, she's been possessing people, turning them into killers, to take revenge on the town."

"It's like a nursery rhyme." Simon said "Before the witch's final breath, she found a way to cheat her death. By cutting off her cursed hand,  she kept our grip upon our land. She reaches from beyond the grave-"

"To make good men her wicked slaves." I finished the rhyme

"Yes, exactly. Don't you see what's happening to us? This is all proof. Shadyside isn't just a hotbed for psychos. All these massacres are connected to Sarah Fier. The witch's curse is real." Josh stated.

"Fine. Let's assume that the witch has been possessing people for some sort of messed-up vendetta. This isn't the same as the mall massacre." Kate said

"She's right. Something different is happening to us. Something way worse. We have two of her killers after us and they're both supposed to be dead. Why is she so mad at us?" I said as Simon slightly tightened his grip on my hand 

"I saw her." Sam said as she walked back into the room with Deena "Last night, I don't... I don't know, you know. I thought I hit my head... It was... It was her. I saw the witch." She said looking at all of us

"Was she hot?" I asked trying to lighten the mood a bit

"We need to go back to the crash site so Sam can show us exactly what happened." Kate said ignoring my question.

We all climbed back into the ambulance and drove back to the woods. 

"Look what I found." Josh said as he pulled out a bag with headlamps 

"Ooh nice find." I said as I took one out and checked if they worked

"I'm not wearing that." Deena said

"Well I will." Simon said as he took it from my hand "I think it really brings out my eyes. What do you think Y/N?"

"Oh yeah, it really goes with your outfit." I responded jokingly. Simon winked at me and got up to open the door as we stopped. We all got out and Josh handed Kate a headlamp

"I can't believe you're wearing that." Deena said to Kate as she put it on

"I can't believe you're above wearing it when we're in the middle of the fucking woods and dead maniacs are after us." She responded

We all walked into the woods in search of the crash from earlier. As we got deeper into the woods Simon grabbed my hand.

"You alright Si?" I whispered as I gave his hand a little squeeze

"Yeah, I'm just thinking about the time we went on a walk around my neighborhood at night and a bird flew out of a bush and you screamed like a little girl."

"I screamed like a little girl?"

"...Yeah who else would it have been?" He said sarcastically

"Guys, here it is." Deena said as we approached the car. As we got closer Sam began explaining what happened
