We all watched as Martin went inside of his house to grab his jacket.

"I did not think that would work." Josh said 

Martin walked back out and Simon did actually end up sitting on the floor by my feet while Martin took his seat. I briefly explained what we needed to do giving some info but not enough to freak him out too much as we headed towards the mall. Once there Martin let us in using the employee entrance. Josh, Ziggy, and Martin walked in ahead of us and Simon, Deena, and I found an area to tie up Sam before meeting up with them.

"As the Mall's lead custodial engineer, I ensure that all retail establishments come equipped with the StoreSafe 250. This is the Cadillac of store gates. Now, the 250 prevents your standard smash-and-grab, graffiti, all while complying with the 70% visibility ordinance. Best part..." He said as he began to lift up the metal gate in front of the mall store "...Easy to operate." Simon walked over inspecting the gate.

"And we can rig them for quick release?" Josh asked

"Little grease, these things go down faster than a Sunnyvale cheerleader." Martin responded, Ziggy and I exchanged a look after that comment.

"So, Deena is the target now, so the killers will go after Deena's blood just like they did with Sam. And then we use that to lure them into the stores, and then..." Josh said before Martin pulled the gate down demonstrating

"Welcome to the clink, motherfucker." Martin finished Josh's thought

"The killers will be locked up, then it's just us versus Goode."

"Okay, sure, awesome, but then what? Like how do we take out Goode?" Deena asked

"Are y'all serious about this?" Martin asked

"Once they're down, how quickly can we get the gates back open?"

"Well that depends, but-" Martin began

"Why would we wanna do that?" I asked Ziggy

"We'll Carrie him."

"Why would we-" Simon began to ask

"The movie Si." I interrupted 

"Never seen it." He said

"We will talk about that later." I quickly explained the idea to him and we all went to grab supplies.

Josh, Martin, and I went to grab large water guns to fill with Deena's blood. As we were looking at the water guns Martin came up behind us with a whoopie cushion

"Seriously?" Josh said

"Jesus Martin." I said startled

"Look at this dumbass thing. It's bigger than a tape deck." Martin said holding a Discman "If you want to hear more than one album, you gotta carry all that too. Plus it skips if you breathe on it."

"Then listen to the radio, dude. We have a situation here." Josh responded

"Yeah, about that, Urkel. Um. What's really going on here?" Martin asked

"Y/N where is Sam tied up?" Josh asked me, I told him and he took Martin to her.

I walked with some water guns back to the hanging tree to see Ziggy staring at it. I walk up behind her and put a hand on her shoulder. She jumps slightly. I see Deena approaching too.

"Are you alright?" I asked her

"This is it." She said looking at the both of us

"Yup." Deena responded

Ziggy turned to walk off but Deena stood beside me for a few more moments looking at the tree. I put my arm around her and leaned my head on her shoulder. It was nice to take a second to prepare ourselves. But that was all it was, a second, before we started getting everything together again. After a few minutes of being alone by the tree Simon walked over handing me a headlamp.
