A few weeks later
"Bin."
The devil, who was hyper-focused on his TV show, looked over to the human who was looking at him intensely. "Yeah?" Changbin asked as he paused the show he was watching. "Nothing," Felix said as he laid down, his head resting on the supernatural being's leg.
Changbin's eyes widened and he stared down at the human who was relaxed. "Is um...is everything okay?" Changbin asks as he slowly places his hand onto Felix's waist. Felix hummed in response and nodded his head. They stayed quiet for a bit before Changbin unpaused his show and started zoning out as he watched it.
Felix glanced up towards Changbin and smiled when he saw the male wasn't uncomfortable with the affection he was getting. He grabbed the blanket that was neatly folded on the back of the couch and laid it over his body. He shifted around until he felt comfortable and he allowed his eyes to close as they felt strained from staring at his laptop for most of the day.
"How is your essay coming along?" Changbin asked as he moved his hand, that was under the blanket, to rest on top of it in the same spot as before. "It's going fine, I got the rough draft down after a week," Felix replied as his eyes stayed closed. Changbin hummed in response and gently patted Felix's side for praise. "When is it due?" Changbin asks. "Next week," Felix replied shortly and gave a deep sigh.
They fell silent for a couple of minutes as Changbin continued to watch the show and Felix relaxed. Changbin wanted to have a conversation with the human but didn't want to disturb him as he felt very relaxed in their position. He glanced down towards the male and a soft smile came to his lips as the pleasant male was either asleep or was just resting his eyes.
Changbin gently moved his hand up and down as he looked back towards the TV to continue watching. Felix shifted around at the new action but fell still again as he gave a content sigh a few seconds later.
A few more minutes passed when Felix spoke up. "Can you come to the cafe when I'm working?" Felix asks. "Why?" Changbin asks as every time he did go, Felix would glare at him. "I just...want you to be there today," Felix said and an awkward cough followed after his sentence. Changbin's eyes narrowed and he slowly turned his head to look at Felix. He was going to ask one of thirty questions that were dancing around in his head, but Felix quickly sat up. "I gotta get dressed and then head out," He said and immediately left the living room after finishing his sentence.

Changbin did follow Felix's words about coming to the cafe. He had just finished going to the gym and had changed into cleaner clothes after taking a decent long shower. He dried his hair until it was damp before making his way out of the apartment and towards the cafe Felix was working at.
It didn't take him long to arrive at the quaint cafe and he entered into the less crowded cafe, unlike the others he had visited before when looking for the human. He instantly spotted Felix at the register taking someone else's order so he got in line; reading the menu to get something different.
It was his turn in a matter of seconds and he stepped forward, smiling at Felix who seemed tense. "You good?" Changbin asked and Felix gave a nod. "Yeah, there were just a lot of people earlier," Felix said.
Lie.
Changbin hummed in response and nodded his head. "Okay," He said and dragged the word out as his eyes narrowed in observation towards his roommate. He gave Felix his new order and handed the money over. "Are you going to be at the same table?" Felix asks and Changbin nodded his head. "You're in my field of view when I sit there," Changbin answered casually as he slipped his wallet into his back pocket.
His sentence obviously surprised Felix who reminded himself to question him later tonight. "Okay," Felix said and Changbin smiled, walking off towards the table he would usually sit at.
Many people came in and out of the cafe, but one person caught Changbin's attention.
The door opened, the bell above it ringing through the chatter-less cafe. A wash of negative and weird energy instantly filled the cafe and disrupted the flow of energy. Changbin refrained from being too noticeable so he glanced up from his phone and allowed his eyes to dart around until they landed on someone.
He quickly took note of what they looked like and he took in their energy disruption. His eyes darted to the counter and noticed Felix wasn't there. He shrugged the thought away, assuming Felix was in the restroom, so he went back to his phone as he continued his wait for his drink. He wasn't in a rush so he didn't care how long his drink was taking.
Despite it being loud, loud enough to barely hear anyone's footsteps, Changbin could make out a pair heading his way. He glanced over his shoulder and smiled when he saw it was Felix. He shuts off his phone and places it a bit to his right, giving the male his full attention once he got to him. "I feel special," Changbin said as Felix placed his coffee on the table. "Good," Felix said and took a nervous glance around which Changbin noticed. "What's up?" Changbin asks and Felix eyed him. "There's just been...a guy who makes me extremely uncomfortable," Felix said and Changbin's eyes darted instantly to the guy who was waiting in the line. "Is he in line?" Changbin asks as his left hand moved off of the cup he was holding.
Felix gave a hum and a nod. "Yeah," He whispers and Changbin eyes glared dagger towards the person who had just entered. "Are you on break?" Changbin asked and Felix nodded his head. "Till 4 and then I come back for two more hours," Felix said and Changbin glanced towards his phone for the time. "Let's go somewhere," Changbin said and grabbed his phone, slipped it into his back pocket, and grabbed Felix's hand. "Okay," Felix agreed instantly with a more relaxed smile and aura.
Changbin smiled back and they left the cafe to have a small walk.
