In-person classes were canceled along with work as the streets were practically flooded with rain.
One of two occupants of the apartment was awake and attending an online meeting for his class; still half asleep and barely functioning as he was wrapped in a blanket. He blinked slowly as he stared at the blurry screen and listened to the muffled voice of his professor who was going on and on about something not school-related. Someone else's voice interrupted the professor which caught Felix's attention.
"Um...professor Kim, are you assigning us any work today?" The student asks and Felix's eyes darted to where the professor's screen was. "No," He answered simply and everyone, including Felix, quickly exited the meeting as a loud crack of lightning echoed through the world. As the meeting closed down, Felix closed his laptop and gently scooted it away. He sat there for some time to see if his body would wake up more, but once he realized it wouldn't, he stood up.
Felix wiggled out of his blanket and left his room, turning towards his right shoulder and walking towards Changbin's room. He slowly pushed the door open and poked his head into the room, smiling when he saw Changbin still asleep. He slipped through the small crack he had made and closed the door; walking over to the bed and crawling over the devil to the free spot near the wall.
The added weight woke up the devil. Changbin's left eye slowly opened but it was scary enough to make Felix stop moving and stare at him. "Do you need something?" Changbin asks and Felix flopped down. "Nope," Felix said and got under the covers. He scooted closer to the warm person and wrapped his arm around his torso. Changbin froze for a couple of seconds before closing his eyes and fixing the blanket around them, settling his hand around Felix's waist.
Felix smiled and closed his eyes to fall back asleep.

The quietness in the apartment was disturbed by someone softly knocking on the door. It woke both males, but Felix was the one to get out of bed to answer the door. He rubbed his eyes as he got to the front door; yawning and slowly opening the door.
He blinked quickly to clear his vision and the smile he had on his face dropped into a worried look when he noticed who was standing in front of him; Jeongin. He was soaking wet with his hair sticking to his forehead and his body vibrating. "Get inside," Felix said softly and quickly ran to grab a towel. Changbin exited the room, barely, as Felix ran past him with a towel in his hands.
He stumbled and blinked quickly at the quick action. He heard Felix's voice echo in his head and he snapped his head over to look in his direction. They locked eyes and Changbin nodded his head as Felix repeated his sentence, "start a hot bath."
They got Jeongin into the bathroom with clean clothes waiting on the counter. As they waited, Felix pulled Changbin into the kitchen to talk. "I feel something is off with Innie," Felix said as he moved around the kitchen to make tea for the male in the restroom. "There is," Changbin said and gave a nervous glance towards the hallway then back at Felix who had frozen. "How do you know?" Felix asks as he eyed him. "Devil, lix, powers," Changbin said and gave a playful eye roll towards the human who scoffed. "Anyway," Felix said and stood in front of him with his arms crossed, "what's up with him?"
"He's falling into a depression."
Felix blinked quickly out of shock. "What?" Felix said under his breath and Changbin nodded his head. "Yeah. Something might have happened earlier because...why would someone be out in the pouring rain," Changbin said and Felix gave a slow nod. "Yeah," He mumbles, "I'll ask him when he gets out of the shower."
Changbin nodded his head and Felix's eyes flickered to his tattoo. "When are you getting it finished?" Felix asks and Changbin shrugged. "Tomorrow maybe," He answered, "it was supposed to be today but obviously not."
Felix gave a nod and turned his head, going back to the task he had before. Changbin left the kitchen and went to sit in the living room to relax and watch TV. A few minutes passed and Jeongin exited the bathroom. Changbin glanced over and motioned for him to sit, which the boy did, also wrapping a blanket around himself to keep himself warm. Jeongin zoned out, which allowed Changbin to observe him, waiting until something or someone appeared behind him.
Felix was the person who appeared behind Jeongin with a small tray of tea. He stopped and raised a brow at the devil who was intently staring at the fragile boy. He walked over and set the tray on the coffee table, sitting next to Changbin and nudging him. Changbin snaps out of his zone and looks at Felix who blinks. "Why were you staring at him?" Felix asks and Changbin looks at Jeongin and then Felix. "I'll tell you later," Changbin said and Felix hummed in response.
Hours passed and Jeongin had to stay as the storm got worse with each passing minute. Felix was able to distract him with painting for a few hours. He and Changbin were sitting in the living room while Jeongin was in the dining room with multiple canvases surrounding him to keep him occupied.
"About you staring at Jeongin," Felix said as he turned his body to face the devil. He laid his legs across Changbin's lap and crossed his arms. Changbin paused the show they were watching and looked at the human. "I was observing him," Changbin clarified and Felix gave a hum. "Why?" He asks. "To make sure a demon wasn't getting attached to him because he's falling into a depression," Changbin said and Felix frowned. "What if he does?" Felix asks. "I can get rid of it," Changbin said with a proud smile. "Really?" Felix said and Changbin hummed. "But, it doesn't look like it so far," Changbin said and stretched upwards, "probably just a bad day."
Felix nodded his head and grabbed the remote to continue watching the show, staying in the position they were in. A few minutes passed and Jeongin walked out from the dining room with a painted canvas in his hands. Felix looked over and watched as Jeongin showed the art with a proud smile, making Felix smile as well. "It looks good," Felix said and Jeongin smiled brightly, going back to the dining room to let it dry.
Jeongin walked a few feet away from the dining room entrance and rubbed his arms. "My aunt said I can stay here for the night since she doesn't want to drive in this weather," Jeongin explained and Felix nodded his head in understanding. "Okay, I'll start making food," Felix trailed off as he decided what he wanted to make, "now. I want pasta." Changbin looked at Felix with wide eyes and a bright smile. Felix patted the male's head, got off the couch, and walked towards the kitchen to start making the homemade pasta noodles.
Once Felix was situated in the kitchen, Jeongin walked over and sat down. "Do you like Felix?" Jeongin asked and Changbin slowly looked at the male. "No," Changbin answered and looked back at the TV, seeing Jeongin's smirking face out of the corner of his eye. "Mkay," Jeongin said and Changbin got an uneasy feeling about the male's decision with the thought of the two like each other.
