Joseph P.O.V.

My Angel stood so close to me. Her song moved everyone. My men did what she asked for and left us alone. I didn't pay much attention to her words until one.

"Please do it the easy way and move your hands in front of yourself."

I did her request and moved my hands. I waited until she does it. But men beside her moved her away from me. Is he trying to protect her? From what? From me? I will not hurt her or let her be hurt.

"Rookie--cuff this son of a bitch."

"God will not let you take me."

"Rook put the cuffs on!"

Young deputy cuffs me on. We leave the church. My beauty is before me. I don't care about anything. We walk to the helicopter. Brothers and sisters try to stop them. In the machine, I am sitting in front of her. I still hum Amazing Grace when we fly and fall fast.

The helicopter had crashed into the ground in the forest. My men had come to my aid. God let me leave safety. As I moved around there is the voice from dispatch.

"Are you there? Is somebody there? Please."

"I told you that God wouldn't let you take me."

"Please I need to know what's going on."

"Dispatch."

"Ohhh... my good"

"Everything is just fine here. No need to call anyone."

"Yes, Father. Praise be to you."

"No one is coming to save you."

I saw that she is alive and listen to what I say to that Rook. I moved to my people. My speech was short and the reaping started. First that we have taken is a female deputy. She will be sent to John. But my Angel is gone. Where is she?

"Jacob, John our guests has escaped. Find them. And I want our singing Angel to be sent to me. I head back home." I told through the radio as I drive back on the Island.

Faith was already waiting for me. After a quick check-up, I went to my room. I need to look presentable for her. After putting on a clean white bottom-up shirt I went to my living room. Faith had made us some tea.

"Do you think they will not hurt our men?

"God is protecting and guiding us. It all is part of his plan."

Waiting was very hard. But I have to be patient.

"Joseph I have our little lamb. She swam in the river. Tell Faith to get towels and prepare some dry clothes."

"Very good brother. We are waiting for you. Faith will prepare everything."

Not long after John come to us too. He waits outside of the home with us. Soon we hear a car and see lights. Jacobs car come and stopped not far from my home. I moved to get her but my brother beats me and took her bride style.

"Take her inside. I have a room prepared." Faith said.

Faith was leading the way. Even if we knew where to go. My guest bedroom.

"She is still wet. She needs to change. And I think she fainted from stress." I hope it was only stress. Or something minor.

"Oh yes, I have towels ready. Just lay her here and I will do the rest."

Jacob laid the female on the bed. Faith was sure to do it alone. I took John with me before they went from the room.

"How is she doing?" I asked the moment Jacob was with us.

"She fainted on me right after coming out of the water."

"So she was too scared to look at you. Don't worry I will make her better." John was fast to comment on everything.

"She will stay here for the time being. You all have sinners to turn back from the wrong path. They are right now in your bunkers. I want them to confess and believe. So I will be the one taking care of her."

Just then Faith comes to us.

"She needs to rest and get warm. No matter the weather she was deep in the water and needs to recover. I suggest we go to the kitchen, have some tea and wait. I have a feeling she will wake up soon. And John that nightdress is not the best idea."

"What was it so bad?"

"It is reliving and short."

So that was in the bag he gave Faith. If it is reliving then she should not wear it. Sister made us tea and we sat at the table. On my left sat Faith and John. Jacob sat on my right but left the seat directly at my right open.

"Faith that man who came to arrest me is in your bunker. Take good care of him. Maybe a bit of bliss will help him. John to you we send a female deputy. Make her confess and become one of us. You, Jacob, have a deputy that was flying the helicopter. He may be worth becoming a soldier."

"What we will do with those who escape. Will they start trying to defeat us?"

That question was smart. Faith sometimes knows what to say to make me think.

"With God's help, we will survive everything. Them and the end."

"Good evening little lamb." That made us all look where Jacob was looking. He was smirking her way. I hope it will not scare her.

She had his military jacket on. Sleeves rolled up and too big. She looks really cute now. Faith stood up and took her to us. She sits Angel next to me on the free spot.

"How did you sleep?"

"Not bad thank you. Can I get my clothes now?" Her voice was quiet now but still nice.

"Your clothes are still wet and they need to dry." The Siren answered her as she put one more cup of warm tea. "Drink it until the tea is still warm."

Angel put her head up. And looked in her direction. "Thank you, Faith." There was a small smile. Almost not there. Her hands took the steaming cup up and drink some.

Let bliss make you calm and warm. My bride. God made you for me I know it. I saw it.

She only took few sips and put the cup down. All of us were looking at her and just wait.

"How do you feel my Angel?"

She looked at me. Her beautiful (e/c) eyes looking at mine. Just like she was trying to remember something from the past.

"I feel...I feel calm. And I met you all. Each at a different time. You were first." That made me happy. We met before and I was the first to see her.
