Cold breeze.
That was the first thing you felt come in contact with your bare naked skin as you woke up. You gasped a bit at a sharp pain you received in your lower back, then you remembered everything.
You look down to see an arm wrapped around your stomach and felt soft breaths on your head.
Slowly turning over you see him.
The smell of sex and cigarettes remained on him.
You watched as he quietly slept. Although not being able to see his face because of the mask, you still imagined what he looked like and wondered about his features and eye color.
He moved a bit and you froze trying to not wake him up and he quickly slept again.
His hair looked so soft. You ran your hands through it slowly. You were right, softer than expected. He woke up and slithered his hand to your face and caressed it.
"Good morning" he said.
You say it back feeling your stomach doing twists and turns.
"Let's shower and get ready yeah? There's something I wanna do with you" he told you as he got up, seeing his beautifully carved body get hit by the sun.
You didn't question him and did as told.
This day felt like it was going to be good.
After the shower and whatnot, you both walked around the area and a few buildings.
"Where are we going?" You asked.
He just said it was a surprise so you got happy and didn't ask anymore.
He led you up this ladder that led up to a smaller roof on top of the building you both were in.
He extended his hand out for you as he was the first climb it, helping you get up.
You smiled.
There was a big cloth, many good looking food and wine greeting you up here.
A giddy sensation made your stomach feel like it it had gotten hit, but with bliss.
"Oh my...is this for me Mr. Sniper?"
you embrace your arms around his neck and hug him.
He nodded in response, lifting you up your feet and carrying you to the soft brown cloth. Looked like one of the hotel room sheets but that effort he put into something simple like this made your heart burst.
"So...ehem. I was wondering if um I could- shit i mean, we could go on d-.....dates like this more often"
his words spattered out in nervous sweat and stutter and you couldnt help but get embarrassed at how flustered you were.
You carresed his hair softly and smiled.
"This is...unusual. Especially coming from a murder driven controlled man like you Mr. Sniper. But yknow...I'd love to do this more often too"
you say, embracing him. His big hands guiding their way around your waist.
The moment stayed like that for a good five minutes and it felt perfect.
No weapons, blood, screaming, worry or fear of dying in sight.
This was what your body had been craving for awhile.
Somehow it was as if Sniper was a completely different person.
His gaze and his aura were so gentle.
His voice calmed and his touch got sweet.
You loved this new him. You hoped for it to stay like that for a long time now.
"Y/N. I know this is so sudden and early but I cant hold back anymore. Every damn day that goes by, my urge to be by your side and protect you gets so strong. I go crazy when were apart for a second thinking something happened to you. Theres something about you that completely won me over and fuck.
I cant resist all of you. I want to protect you for as long as i live. Y/N....."
He sighed as you just stood there with a burning face and heavy pounding heart for hearing what you just said.
Then he did it.
"Will you do me the honor of being my woman?
And just like that, you felt as if passing out at any moment was possible.
You took a moment to take those words in.
Did you want it? Of course you did. In your little world, nothing sounded better than waking up next to the man that protects you and loves you everyday. You felt so safe with him.
A little tear of joy slipped out and you smiled.
"I'd love to"
You say.
You lean in for a kiss but sadden realizing Sniper never shows his face.
Out of the blue he grabs your chin with his fingers bringing you close to his face.
"I think im ready to show you. I dont want to hide myself from you anymore, ok?"
You nodded and your heart pounded in anticipation. His free hand grabbed the bottom of his mask, slowly lifting it off his face, until his full face was showing.
You gasped.
God was he so handsome.
Blue but tired looking eyes. Pretty lips, the ones he kissed you with. A nice sharp nose and jaw.
You took it all in at that moment.
"I-...you're so.."
your words vanished in a trial as he shhh'ed you and cupped your face, meeting his lips with yours.
It for sure as hell felt different this time.
You cherished every last second of it.
You finally felt hope for being apart of a weird simulation.
Things were so perfect at this moment, and you didnt want it to end.
You hoped for it to last till tommorow, and a coming lifetime thats ahead of you.
Head over heels was such a good term to explain your utter love for the myterious masked man.
