{Chapter Nineteen - It's Time For The Apocalypse}

~ I think of her so much it drives me crazy,
I just don't want her to leave me,
Don't you give me up, please don't give up ~

Ms Mead drove Michael and Elora to Kineros Robotics, so that they could meet with Jeff and Mutt again to see if they had answers. However, before they faced the two nerds, they decided to get some food.

While Elora ordered them some sushi, Michael sat at a table, watching her. She had been kind or distant since they infiltrated the coven, and he had a feeling it had to do with his outburst. He hadn't meant to yell at her, but he was so blinded by anger he didn't know what he was doing.

Elora approached him, a bag in her hand and a smile on her face. But he could tell that it was forced as she sat down.

"Thanks." Michael said quietly, taking his food.

"Hey," Elora started, and Michael's head shot up. "This is kinda like... our first date."

"You're right." Michael frowned, recalling everything they did together as a couple. But none of it was really simple, and 'date' like. "I'm not being much of a gentleman, am I?"

"No." Elora complained with a fake frown, which split into a smile soon after Michael turned around and pulled out some flowers from the garden behind them.

"Here you go." He handed them to her, and she took them and pretended to swoon.

"Oh, they are beautiful!" She grinned. With all the stress in both of their lives, it felt good to do something so simple. Elora ripped a flower from its stem and tucked it in her hair.

"So, since it's our very first date, tell me something about yourself that I don't already know." Michael asked, leaning his elbows on the table.

"Hmm..." Elora frowned. She couldn't think of anything that Michael didn't already know. "I sleep talk nearly every night, and one time when I was 7 I slept walked all the way down the street until a neighbour found me."

"Okay, I already knew about the sleep talking thing." Michael laughed. Most nights, especially when they stayed up late, Elora would mumble things in her sleep.

"Your turn."

"You know everything about me." Michael shrugged.

"No I don't. What's your favourite color?"

"Come on," Michael rolled his eyes. "It's red. Anyone could have guessed that."

"No, I would have guessed black. Like your soul." Elora smirked.

"Rude." Michael frowned.

Elora laughed, "You're cute, I hope I score a second date."

"Hmm. Not likely." Michael looked her up and down. "Okay, serious question."

"Yeah?"

"When did you know you liked me?" Michael asked, "Actually liked me."

"Well obviously I liked you the moment we met, but I started having feelings for you after I had a fight with Nathan, and you sat with me while I cried. You were so caring and so kind." Elora answered, and Michael hid a smile. "Okay, what about you?"

"I had a crush on you the moment I saw you move in across the street. You looked like an angel. And then I met you and you were an angel." Michael answered, taking her hands.
