"Goodbye, Papa."
I say to my dad, he smiles and gives me a tight hug before slowly pulling away. "Call me anytime," He says sternly and kisses me on the cheeks, I nod and pull away. He hops inside the car and drives off, leaving me by myself at the entrance.
Finally some peace, all the guests have left and I'm alone. I wanna go home and sleep this out. I can't believe I'm married. I feel two hands snake around my waist, I gasp and turn around to see Alejandro. "Personal space please," I said and pulled away, he chuckled.
"You seem tired, let's go?" He asked and I nodded. He offered me his hand, I glanced at him, he had that smug smile on his face, I wasn't in the mood to act all happy with this man, cause I was far from happy.
I ignored his hand and walked down the stairs by myself, the driver opened the door for me and I sat inside the car, soon Alejandro followed and sat beside me. The engine started and soon the driver started driving. The awful silence in this car was driving me insane, I turned to take a small glance at Alejandro who was staring out the window as we passed by buildings.
I couldn't imagine it, at all, spending my whole life with this guy. Come on, Camila, let's plan on how to divorce him, maybe I should run away? Or better yet throw myself in a river and act like I died?
Okay, that was a stupid idea. I won't be doing that. I have more to life than I could ever imagine, Alejandro may be the worst thing yet I still have many people who I love that are still in my life.
"We're here," Alejandro says bursting me out of my bubble. He got out of the car and walked straight inside the house. How rude?
I sighed and waited for the butler to open my door, soon I was greeted by the maids who stood near the entrance. "Good evening, Mrs. Huxley," She greeted me, wow, that feels so weird, to be called 'Mrs. Huxley'. I smiled at her.
"I'm Breanna, I'm the head maid and I'll be the one assisting you." She introduces herself. "Nice to meet you, Breanna," I tell her offering my hand for a handshake which she gladly took.
"I'll be guiding you to your room, I presume you are tired from the long day you have had," Breanna told me and I nodded, she gestured for me to go inside the house and follow her and I was mesmerized by the embellishments, the decorations, and the structure of the house was superb.
2x more beautiful than my humble abode.
She led me upstairs and through the hallways and finally, we stopped in front of two massive golden doors. "Here is your room," She says, revealing a huge bedroom, decorated in white, baby pink, and gold. "Beautiful," I breathed out and she smiled.
"Mr. Huxley decorated this himself, he knows you quite well," She tells me catching me off-guard, Alejandro designed this. He's practically the last person i would think that would know my favorite colors. "He does," I said to her.
"Your things are already in your dressing room, folded and arranged neatly," She says and pulls the curtains to the sides revealing the balcony. "Mr. Huxley personally added this, saying you loved beautiful sceneries." She says and I was in awe of the view.
"I love it," I say wholeheartedly as I step out to the balcony, the cold wind touching my skin as my hair flows with the air, it is gorgeous. "I shall leave you be, have a good night Mrs. Huxley." She bade me goodnight I thanked her and soon she left the room leaving me alone.
Alejandro's Point Of View
I stare blankly at the two bracelets that are placed in front of me, I haven't taken my eyes off them. The bracelets that Camila gave me on my birthday, why did I have to be so barbaric? Was I too hard on her?
I couldn't fall in love with such a girl, especially a girl who's the daughter of the person who killed the person I loved so much. How can a person connected with such a horrible person act like that? Act so sweet, humble, and innocent when all of her lines of history are bad people.
"She deserves to suffer," I breathed out, she's stuck with me until the end, and I will make sure she will pay for what her parents did. Once she gives me my heir, she'll be gone by that.
I sighed and placed the jewelry box back inside my drawer. Laying my head on my chair my thoughts go back to the time when she asked me if we would be happy once were married, I couldn't explain it but that glistened and sparkled in her eyes once I told her I'd make sure our marriage will be happy made me want to give up everything for her, to see her smile like that.
That squint in her eyes, and the dimples that sat neatly on her cheeks, it seemed like absolute heaven. I shouldn't be thinking about this, she isn't worth it. This is stupid. I should go check on my little devils.
I took my glasses off and walked out of my room, it was late already, everyone was sleeping already, yet I couldn't even blink, the thought of her kept me for hours. I should take my mind of her. I walked down the stairs and passed through the foyer before entering the doors to the garden. The dogs weren't there, did they get inside the house? Who did they bite this time?
I rushed over to the kitchen and was shocked at the sight I saw. It was Camila, with the dogs. They lay on her legs as she sits below the counter. The dogs quickly ran to me, and as Camila's eyes met mine she quickly stood up.
"Hi," She says, I pick one of the dogs up and walk up to her. "It seems like you made new friends," I tell her and she chuckles. Rossi and Harros hate people, the only people they like is me, well I was was me, that's weird.
"I saw them in the garden, I hope you don't mind if I let them in," She says and I shake my head, "Not at all," I say and put Rossi down. "You can't sleep?" I asked as I walked over to the fridge.
"Yeah," She says and sits on the stool.
"Do you want me to make some hot chocolate for us?" She asked me, I glanced at her, I wanted to hesitate yet I couldn't sleep at all, and it did seem nice to drink hot chocolate at this time. "Why not, sure."
She stood up and grabbed the kettle, she placed water in it and placed it on the stove waiting for it to boil. I sat on the stool as I watched her attentively. As soon as the water started boiling she placed the hot choco powder and stirred it and soon placed it into mugs.
I was about to grab it when she said, "Wait, stop, there's a finishing touch," She says as she runs from the pantry, holding a bag of mini marshmallows and whipped cream. She places the marshmallows and whipped cream on top before serving it to me.
"I hate whipped cream," I tell her and she stops in her tracks and gasp, "Everybody loves whipped cream," She says and sits beside me drinking her drink, "Come on, try it," She says pursuading me, i give up and took a sip.
To my surprise it was delicious, the sweetness was just right, she measured it well, and the whipped cream actually helped with the flavor, as i placed the mug down, she was glancing at me smiling. "How was it?" She says and i look away, "It's not that bad," I say and take another sip, she chuckles.
"It's not bad to try new things," She says, I glance back at her, she was staring at the window that showed the view of the garden, it was practically the only light that we could see because of moon, she smiles, she looked lovely with no makeup, with her hair down in her usual curls.
"Do you wanna
