What can I do to get a quest?

Thanks for the first asking for advice question. I promise to try to be as helpful as possible.

You asked to be kept anonymous so I'm keeping you anonymous.

Now, I assume (when you ask this question) that you mean to join a quest, if you mean to LEAD a quest, that's a whole other story and either some prophecy includes you or a God tells you to or really... you're just chosen.

Anyway, for the being a part of a quest one:

I'm going to list a bunch of requirements.

1) You have to make lots of friends and be trusted by them

2) Be claimed or be VERY good with a sword

3) Be no younger than 10 years of age

4) There has to be a reason for a quest

These are the ones that seem clear to me. I'll explain why all of these matter in turn.

1) You have to make lots of friends and be trusted by them

That way, if one of your friend gets the opportunity to lead a quest (or gets stuck leading one), when choosing his or her companions on the quest, you have a bigger chance of getting picked as one of his or her companions if you're their friend and they trust you.

2) Be claimed or be VERY good with a sword

Until you're claimed, you (no offense) can't really do anything special. I mean, if you can control water or summon lightning, it's obvious who your godly parent is but, it's like in Roman camps. You're probatio until you're claimed. This is a requirement I see necessary because you can't be confident in yourself until you know what your strengths and weaknesses are. And, of course you're not going to send a Hephaestus kid to save Ares or something. Hephaestus would get mad (even though it would be completely his fault for not claiming his kid!). If you're really good with a sword though (or a dagger, or archery, or martial arts or something --- I don't know!), that MIGHT work for you. Most people get chosen for a quest because the quest says they have to go, because they volunteer and no one else does, but mainly because they're good in a fight. See, you WILL have to fight in a quest, maybe you can use your voice as a weapon (for Aphrodite kids --- charmspeak) or you can build stuff if you're not good at playing with knives (Hephaestus kids) but you have to be able to do something! And Clovis wonders why doesn't go on a quest! You have to be awake and alert and volunteer and up your skills.

3) Be no younger than 10 years of age

I don't know anyone younger than 10 who has gone on a quest. See, if three five-year-olds went traveling across the United States in a train, daggers strapped to their waists... attracts some attention, right? And they're too young. They're still little kids then and it's a dangerous world.

4) There has to be a reason for a quest

You're not going to go on a quest if there's no reason for one, right? Just to be clear, I am not AT ALL suggesting you cause trouble so there will be a quest. No, don't do that. That won't work out well for you. I'm just saying, you won't go on a quest if there is no quest. This is pretty obvious but I included it anyway.

Thank you for the first asking for advice question. I enjoyed answering it, feel free to ask me for more advice.

Just so you ALL know, if anybody DARES me, it includes dialogue. Plus, I'm looking for excuses to go to Camp Half-Blood, see my cousin Magnus, visit my friends Carter and Sadie, and go back home for a little while --- spend time with my family. These are ideas --- dare me using one of these subjects and you get a shoutout! (unless you want to be anonymous, then you'll get a really great thank you from me). You can dare me right here in these comments or by private messaging.
