The next day, Nico and I checked in with each other - this time without the help of Clovis.
We confirmed the date, time, and place and he asked me a bit more about Sadie. How should he act... what was she like...
He complained to me about how his father had invited him here and then barely spent any time with him because he was working.
Gods, did I feel that. Can't say my dad spent a lot of time with me over his work...
Eventually, he had to go "help his step-mother" in the gardens so I zoned out of my vision and started texting Sadie.
Just asking to confirm... are you coming tomorrow?

It was 11:50a.m.
"Better to be early than late, right?" I said to no one in particular.
Continuing this particularly thrilling conversation with myself, I said: "Yeah... yeah... the early bird gets the worm."
I heard a laugh behind me. I turned around. "That's where you're wrong Annabeth. The early bird may get the worm but the late bird steals it."
I laughed and hugged Sadie. "Hey, so where's this friend of yours?"
"He'll be here soon," I told her.
"No!" She said. "No, this is terrible!"
"What?" I asked. "What happened?"
She pouted. "He'll steal the worm from both of us!" She said, frowning.
"Well, I am the late bird," Nico said, appearing in the shadow of a tree next to me. He squinted and the sun and squirmed at the sand beneath his feet.
"Technically, we're all early," I reminded them.
"True," said Nico.
I glanced over to Sadie and saw her frozen with shock. "Anubis," she croaked out. "But... uh... you... Walt." Her eyes went wide with horror and fear. "Walt!" She said, disappearing in a fraction of a second.
After a moment of silence, Nico broke it. "She seems... fun."
Sorry for the short chapter but it's come to my attention that @flameshine19 has not voted on any of the chapters written of their dare. Only @GreenYoshi73 and Anonymous have. Shoutout to you two by the way.
I don't know... it just feels bad or wrong or whatever to write a dare you gave me if you're not reading it.

The next update is double and already written. It's the final part of this dare and Anonymous's advice question.
So... if you want to see those anytime soon... vote! Of course, only vote if you actually liked the story. Don't want you guys to feel pressured for anything. It just gives me better motivation to update often if I feel like people are counting on me to.
Of course though, my world does not revolve around how many votes I get. Therefore, if I don't get my four votes then I'll update next week (also on Sunday) but only one of those two chapters I was talking about.
Sorry you guys had to hear me vent a lot.

After I post part four of this dare, I only have two more advice questions lined up and we all know that I write questions and advice questions a lot faster than I do dares... so, I'll run out. Sure, I can invent some dares and questions and advice questions but I really prefer it when it comes from you guys. The cover of this story says interactive and that's what it should be. Interactive. Meaning you dare or ask or request advice and I'll write it for you. I promise I'll write it. Just give me something to write!!!
So... yeah. Sorry again about the short chapter. I had a lot to write as author's note (as you can see).
