♡ oh boy, Naomi's sick
as Naomi spoke, a lightening was shot in the background, making the scene more dramatic. the albino rose his eyebrows as he checked the doorbell list.
and really. on one of the small nameplates was written Hajime's full name with a bell next to it.
"let's test it out!" Naomi smiled widely and just as he was about to push the bell, he was pulled away by a skinny porcelain coloured arm.
"no, leave it be" the older one whispered just loud enough for the younger one to hear.
he let go of the younger and began walking away with his hands now in his pockets.Naomi watched Nagito for a while, then looked at the doorbells again for a split second. he shook his head and followed his friend, "wait up!" he called out, causing the albino ahead of him to stop and wait for the younger to catch up.
"gladly you listened to me" Nagito smiled for a split second once they were next to each other.
Naomi chuckled, "don't get too used to it, old man"
"shut up nerd" the albino rolled his eyes.
the age difference wasn't that bad, Nagito was two years older than Naomi and the age difference wasn't too visible for the way they both acted, but that doesn't stop Naomi from making remarks about the two years.they smiled at each other slightly and continued to walk along the street that took them to the apartment complex. they were already returning, because the rain was only getting stronger and it was getting really cold for them to walk around in wet clothing.
another lightning was shot, followed by a loud thunder. Naomi flinched as the thunder was heard, his body was trembling either out of fear or cold."are you good Naomi?" the older stopped and walked to the younger one who stopped just as the thunder launched.
"I guess" Naomi mumbled and wrapped his arms around himself in order to stay at least a little warm.
Nagito patted Naomi's shoulder, "we should call Fuyuhiko to pick us up"
"n-no, we'll make it t-there"he began trembling more, it was now visible in his voice too.
"are you sure?"
"o-of course!...." Naomi sneezed as he finished speaking.
the albino shook his head and took out his phone, "I'm calling him right now"
"n-no, he said h-he's outta the town, it would take long," Naomi said and covered his mouth as he sneezed. he thought of an idea, "w-were you Hajime's f-favorite?"
"what"
"w-when you were in the asylum! did you t-two get along? he may help right now"
"I don't know..."
"l-listen, if he tries to call the p-police, you have t-the g-gun, right?" Naomi looked at Nagito, the grip of the gun could be vaguely seen through the fabric of the hoodie he wore, "he w-wouldn't call anyone if his l-life would be in danger"
"what about later on?"
"he w-wouldn't know w-where we went, so i-it would be all for n-nothing"
the rain got even heavier, thunders could be heard more clearly and the lightnings were shot more often.
lightnings were what made Naomi jump and whimper. his sneezing became more frequent, giving the albino no other choice but to reunite with his old 'friend'.
with Nagito's support, they both made it back to the apartment building. the whole time, Nagito had his arm around Naomi's waist giving him the support he would need to get to the building.
