THE DAY CAME, the 31st of December 2014.
time to say goodbye to 2014 and greet 2015. time to restart.

the whole Kuzuryuu Clan was antsy throughout the whole month. everyone noticed how the tasks had dropped, how Nagito was following Fuyuhiko around or how much paperwork was sent to the lawyers or to the notaries.
conspiracy theories were made, soon a rumor was spread, saying that Fuyuhiko wants to sell the clan to a richer mafia. of course, all of these delusional deductions were wrong.

those who knew, Fuyuhiko, Peko and Nagito, succeeded in keeping the matter a secret, waiting patiently for this day to reveal what was about to happen.

the day started off with everyone in the mansion waking up at 6AM exactly. Peko had to drag Naomi out of the bed which reflected on his behavior.
the rest woke up, meeting with everyone downstairs without many problems. Peko didn't make breakfast that day, Fuyuhiko and Nagito took the time to cook something up, since the three of them were awake a little longer than everyone else.

after a quick breakfast, that made up Naomi's mood, everyone got dressed in like the most random and warm clothes. they met in the garage where a decision was made. they would have to separate into two groups before driving down the hill to the main mafia building.

and so, Nagito was, once again, separated from his boyfriend. after a long discussion accompanied by loud protests, he agreed to disagree with Fuyuhiko.

the drive with Fuyuhiko and Peko was pretty much ignored by Nagito. those two talked about today's events, asked him questions about [REDACTED].

Nagito tuned out all of the conversation until his ears detected his name being mentioned.
he was too busy daydreaming and being lost in thoughts. he was mentally preparing himself for what was going to happen.
there was basically nothing that could go wrong, Fuyuhiko had every possible scenario covered by at least three plans on how to make the show run smoothly. yet there were the voices that made him feel stressed out.
his mind ran by him at least 100 more scenarios that could possibly happen.
the only savior was the tiny, quiet voice that always tried to convince him that he's just overthinking things.
he liked that voice... oddly enough it sounded like Hajime who always managed to calm him down.

"Nagito, are you even listening?" Fuyuhiko looked back through the mirror that hung from the ceiling of the car. they were standing in front of the railway, waiting for a long train to pass.

the blonde's voice woke Nagito up from daydreaming, "huh? oh well... yeah?" he replied and held back a yawn.

"cool, then what were we talking about?" Fuyuhiko asked with a raised eyebrow.

the train was finally past the part of the railway they had to go through, so the car began moving again along with another one right behind which was driven by Hajime.
