WARNING: small spoilers for the movie Bohemian Rhapsody

one and a half month had passed since Kokichi and Hajime moved in. Peko and Fuyuhiko had made them all train every single day. Fuyuhiko barely let them out within 1km radius away from the house, but there was no need to, apparently everyone in the house was an introvert and enjoyed being inside.

in the main being, everyone entertained themselves by playing board games, except Monopoly, card games or they hung out separately.

Naomi played the guitar for Kokichi who was very interested in it. they were able to talk and talk restlessly and laugh over the most dumb things.

Nagito and Hajime decided to catch up the time they wasted and watched movies in Hajime's bedroom, eating popcorn and laughing at cheap jokes. there was occasional flirting, cuddling or just simple hugs.
both enjoyed these little hang outs, it began to feel really natural and nice.
and if they were hanging out without something to do, Hajime ask Nagito if they could train, for some reason it became the best time killer at that point.

one day, at the date of 8th November, around the time of 7PM, Fuyuhiko called Nagito and Hajime downstairs to 'talk'.
now 'talking' usually means something bad in business like that, so they both kinda stressed out over it, but here's how it played out.

"what do you think this could be about?" Hajime asked as him and Nagito walked down the stairs.

"no idea," Nagito shrugged, "I'm assuming nothing good, he rarely asks to talk with specific people... if so, he calls everyone,"

"mhm," the brunet hummed and took a deep breath to calm down. the boy next to him grabbed his hand, carefully guiding him through the house into another darkened room where already sat Fuyuhiko.

the blonde male was sitting, legs crossed, on a black chair with tall backrest. a single file was thrown on a black iron table in the middle of the room.
he was picking at his nails, presumably he waited for quite a while.

"sit down," he ordered as soon as he noticed the two boys holding hands by the entrance.

without a word, Nagito dragged Hajime towards the couch and sat down, pulling Hajime down with himself.
Nagito's eyes immediately landed on the file, scanning the perfectly clipped paper to see if he could find anything that would tell him what was about to happen, which, of course, failed.
Hajime on the other hand unnoticeably examined the room and Fuyuhiko's expression, trying to read him to find out whether or not they're facing bad news, but Fuyuhiko was expressionless, he was like a closed book Hajime couldn't open. it made him a bit more nervous, he always read people's expressions perfectly, determining if they're sad, happy, need a hug, need to be left alone and based on that, he thought about possible actions and acted.
but this time, like with Nagito, he was unable to say what the blonde was about to say or do. so, the other smart thing was searching for exits and keeping an eye on them.

"calm down, I don't have bad news," Fuyuhiko laughed as if their nervousness was a big good joke.

both boys who were still quite spaced out, flinched at the sound of his ringing, quite wheezy laughter.
Nagito squeezed Hajime's hand, unable to react any other way, "uhm, so why are we here?"

Fuyuhiko pointed at the file, "don't think I didn't notice the enthusiasm in training you've got Hajime, so here's my idea of a reward for you," he paused, "both of you, since you both were training very intensely,"

Nagito grabbed the file he's been eyeing for a while. he opened it so that Hajime could read as well.

their reactions were different.
Hajime's breathing seemed to have stopped, he stared at the text with widened eyes and a weak smile to top off his shock. after a few seconds of his hidden breathing, his breath returned, eager for more oxygen.
on the other hand, Nagito smiled widely and laughed.
