Lily woke the next morning feeling refreshed. Her alter ego was having a day off. She smiled as she could smell bacon sizzling in the pan. Dan had taken the day off and she couldn't be happier. They had made love, ate junk food, talked and made love again until the early hours of the morning. She could faintly hear music playing, Dan always loved having music playing when he cooked.
Lily lay there naked in the bed, the duvet felt heavy so she kicked it off. Stretching and arching her body she felt good today. It had been such a long time since they had really connected.
The mobile phone beeped to tell her she had a message. Lily reached for the handset. A message from someone she didn't know. As she opened the message there was a picture of a woman, redhead, with a caption 'Do you know this woman?' Lily was intrigued, she clicked on the messaged to open it. It was from a lady called Diana. Although Lily didn't recognise the woman she looked vaguely familiar. At least parts of her did, at that moment Dan walked through the door with a tray. 'Good morning beautiful' he drawled sexily in his best southern accent. Lily laughed, she switched off the app on her phone and put it back on the bedside table. Whatever it was about it could wait. Dan was at home all day and she wasn't about to waste precious time with him.
After breakfast they both showered together. His touch on her skin made her glad to be alive. Glad to be his. His kisses down her back sent a shiver up her spine. She stood in the shower allowing the hot droplets of water wash over her. His hands reached around and he held her tightly. Whispering in her ear she was instantly aroused, as was he. He turned her body round so she could face him. His blue eyes smiling down on her. She grabbed the back of his neck and pulled his lips to hers. She wanted him. He picked her up and her legs went around him. As he entered her body slowly she let out a scream, oh how she had missed this part of themselves. The part where it was never clear where her body started or where his finished. They were connected in all the areas a person could connect. They were one. His sharps thrusts deep into her and she reciprocated, by thrusting back. Biting at his neck, he lowered his head to her breast. Taking the nipple in his mouth she groaned louder and louder. He looked up at her and she was melting, her body shaking at his touch. He grabbed her wrists and forced them on the warm tile above her head. Her legs tightened around his torso. A few more moments and they were both groaning, the height of their sexual act almost at a close, he kissed her hard on the mouth and she allowed her tongue to slide into his mouth. It was too much for him as he let out a loud groan and climaxing inside her. She thrust back and forth and the sweet release finally came as she screamed his name.
They'd spent the rest of the day sitting on their balcony watching the world go by. He held her hand and kissed it often. Each time he got up to get them a drink he kissed her passionately or slid his hands inside her top, caressed and teased her nipple, she was instantly moist.
In the evening he wanted to take her out. They hadn't been out in such a long time. He had booked a table at the local Italian restaurant, a place he'd taken her on their first real date. She loved it here.
Lily sat down whilst Dan excused himself to go to the bathroom. Lily looked around at all the couples sat together on individual tables. There was an elderly couple holding hands. Lily smiled. She wondered if she and Dan would still be doing that at their age, would they still be together, she hoped so.
As her eyes scanned the restaurant her eyes stopped, something clutched at her heart. The woman, the redhead, she looked familiar. Did Lily know her? Lily hadn't realised she had been staring until she realised the woman looking back at her. Who was she? She had definitely seen this woman before, but where? Dan returned to the table.
'What's wrong, you looked far away there, where did you go he asked smiling.
Lily's face flustered, she hadn't seen him returning.
Lily shook her head as if to shake off some nightmare.
'That woman, I thought I'd seen her somewhere' replied Lily.
Dan followed to where Lily was looking. His face drained of colour for a second, luckily for him Lily didn't see. He turned to look at Lily.
' Where do you think you know her from? ' he asked.
Lily shrugged her shoulders. She really didn't know.
When Dan looked again the woman was gone.

Lily had seen this woman before today, she knew she had, but where? Her fragile mind had taken much from her. She was so consumed in her own world, nothing else had mattered. Until yesterday when Dan finally came back to her after months of deep depression, feeling isolated because quite simply she was lonely. Dan worked so many hours each day, each time telling her it was for their future.
Tomorrow she would find out where she knew the woman from. Lily sent a message to Diana to say she would call her tomorrow but for now all she wanted was to snuggle up to Dan and fall asleep in his arms.
