Pets are one of man's best friends. They help people relieve stress and improve mood, it can be said that they are considered a tonic. But even so, we can't deny that having a pet will have disadvantages.

According to research, having a dog or a cat as a pet helps to prevent psychological issues like depression. These animals keep a person busy while also providing love and affection, which boosts overall pleasure. These animals also aid in the treatment of anxiety and inactivity, as well as encouraging movement and playfulness. People who did not previously own a pet often reported lower blood pressure and cholesterol after adopting a pet. Furthermore, dogs are extremely protective of both their owner and their property. They protect the house from any outside threats or intrusion. Keeping pets is so beneficial for families with youngsters or senior citizens.

However, pet ownership is not an easy job. Many diseases, including asthma, are spread by animals. Various diseases can be transmitted by a dog's or cat's saliva and fur. Worse, a dog bite from an unvaccinated dog might result in life-threatening illnesses. It's exceedingly tough to keep track of a pet's illnesses. Dogs can also be a source of noise during the night. Dog howling and barking at night has been described as a severe kind of stress by many individuals.

In conclusion, despite numerous disadvantages of owning a pet, animals such as dogs are immensely helpful in coping with the tensions and anxieties of modern life. They are not only amazing mates, but they are also superb protectors against any potential danger.
